2024 is in full motion with some cracking discos and had this incredible review to get the year started on a high. 🥰
December was one crazily busy month, from a whole range of Christmas and private parties, but also my school's events.
Here is some of what was going on to end 2023 in the truly M.I.D. style... 🎉

Haven't done a proper post since end of Summer! 😜
What an incredible last 2 months it has been. I haven't taken many pics, but here is just a taste of what's been going on...
Tribute nights, weddings, teenage birthdays, wedding anniversaries, christenings, adult birthdays, a vast amount of children's birthdays, and a non-stop last 3 weeks of Halloween events for schools and clubs. 🤩
One of my favourite events was Matts Mission Children's Charity - Making Smiles Glow Firework Event on Friday, raising funds for seriously ill children. A range of stalls, activities, and dance and singing performances along side myself entertaining a crowd of 2000 people. My highlight was the torch tribute for the children who sadly lost their battle against cancer. 🪽💛

🥰 A massive thank you to all those who have used us over the last 2 months, including all the schools, Ardencote Hotel, Wroxall Abbey, West Warwicks Sports Club, Knowle British Legion and everyone for their private parties. 🎉

It's been a while since posting, but what an end of summer term it was! 🥰🥵
Every night through July I was working, either with a disco or a school event. It's been epic, tiring, enjoyable, exhausting, and so much fun. 🤩
18 discos (not including the rest of the team's) including Yr11 Proms, Primary summer or leavers discos, kids birthdays, Weddings, along with many other events. 🥳🎉
As well as:
Several castle hires that were able to go ahead when the weather was good.
Some fantastic end of year shows at school, including our own 'Wizard of Oz' and many primary school productions too, such as 'Matilda' which I loved. All with the added benefit of using my lighting, smoke jets and sound system.

Thanks to everyone who has used us recently, recommended us, and have us booked in for the coming future. 🤗

Also, a big thanks to these wonderful venues; Ardencote, The Limes Country Lodge Hotel, and Akamba for using us for several special occasions. 💖

Exhausted, but buzzing from DJing a new primary school: West Heath. 🎤 🎶
They hadn't had a disco in a fair few years and my-boy could you tell! Wow 🤩
The energy from over 250 kids was electric and the vibe at 200%, raving like at Glastonbury, despite the heat. 🥳 And so many fab comments at the end from the kids and staff. One girl even said, "Best day of her life!" Aw 😊

Roll on the next few weeks of discos, most of which are school leavers and summer events, with a sprinkle of birthday parties. 🎉

🤩 It's been a busy few weeks of amazing events; from school discos, children birthdays, Holy Communions- especially one for a disabled young girl who loved every minute; but a highlight is supporting Matts Mission Children's Charity - Making Smiles Glow on Sunday at their Princess Ball. 💝

🎉Over 30 girls were celebrated for donating their hair to the charity, which is used for other children who are going through cancer.
🎉Roughly £20,000 raised by the girls, raffle and other sources which goes to help other children with cancer or disabilities and have their wishes granted.
🎉Amazing singing and dancing performances.
🎉A mini-disco from myself.
🎉A load of activities throughout the day from 40 sponsors.

It was such a lovely event to be part of and even though I was on the go for 12 hours straight, it was such a magical and incredible day! 🥰

🥳 It's been a busy few weeks since I've last posted. Discos have been flooding in, and the last load of events have been such a range of fab parties from kids birthdays, engagements, school discos, adult birthdays, one with karaoke, and also seen UV glow parties becoming more popular.

The last 2 days I also had the pleasure of working alongside the dance team at school to host my 1st Solihull Dance Festival! 🥰

🔈 Bought some new grills for my speakers to keep them looking fresh and clean. ✨🤩

2022 came to a close with some wonderful NYE parties, and a busy week of other events. 🥳
After the challenges Covid brought in recent years, we are so pleased that thanks to all our wonderful clients, we bounced back in style last year. 🥰 2022 saw myself (Colin) alone hosting 166 events and special occasions, along with the introduction of further services to enhance your party, such as new games for kids parties, dry-ice effect and LED numbers.

🎅 What a way to end the Christmas parties for me (Colin) this year! ☃️ It was a fun and festive evening last night at West Warwickshire Sports Complex for their family Christmas party! 🥳 Loads of dancing, bubbles, Christmas hits, games, dance routines, snow, Santa, smiles, and wonderful feedback at the end. 🥰

Mirror Image always strives to improve our equipment and services to deliver top quality entertainment. 🤩
This year has seen the addition of LED number hire, dry-ice service, upgraded lighting and sound systems, a boost of neon parties with our enhanced UV lighting, castle/disco packages, as well as the introduction of new and exciting games and challenges for children's events. 🎉

In my endeavor to provide the best parties possible and offer a wide-range of services, I am after your thoughts on these new ideas for 2023...
🎤 Karaoke for adult events. E.g. the last 2 hours.
🎤 Kids singing parties- such as last part in an X-Factor style.
🎤 Small 1.5ft muli-coloured LOVE letters.
🎤 Adding more numbers to my collection: 7 & 8
🎤 Buying a birthday backdrop to use at parties for photos- posh black/gold one for adults, and balloon/party one for kid's parties.
🎤 The above can then be added to with my photo booth props, and also the possibility of providing a camera for the pics and then displaying them on our TVs and a USB given of the pics.

I'm so excited and ecstatic to announce our brand-new service of 'dancing on the clouds' to make your special event even more memorable! 💖

💍 Take your wedding to next level, by adding my dry-ice machine and making your first dance unique and bring that WoW factor.
🥳 It can also be added to any other event or occasion to create that professional TV show-factor and make a particular moment extra special- such as a dance, entrance, performance.
😲 Unlike other companies who provide dry-ice, I am charging ONLY £95, which is significantly less than other DJ companies, meaning you can have that magical moment at an affordable cost. *Typical cost from others is £150-£300

❗️ This is a professional dry-ice machine, using frozen CO2 pellets. This cost provides enough to last for roughly 5 minutes. It is also safe to use in venues and does not trigger smoke detectors.

🤩 What a fantastic few weeks of discos and such a range of occasions too, including a 60th birthday, 13th birthday, secondary school disco, 6th birthday with my large slide (Col's Castles), 6th birthday with my large LED number, several glow parties, firework events, as well as many halloween parties and school discos, and other special events! 👻🥳

It’s been a very busy October and it’s only going to get busier with the run up to Christmas. 😁

😎 Also, it’s been great to have a day off today, giving me chance to catch up on equipment maintenance and cleaning, sorting music and new visuals, buying a range of new prizes, as well as creating several new game ideas which I can’t wait to start next week!! 🎉

After 3 years, due to covid, it was great to be back DJing at Knowle school tonight! The energy, buzz and vibe from the kids was electric! It was fantastic to see them properly go for it, letting their hair down and sing/party like in a mini club!

🥰 What a incredible last 2 weekends of events! ❤️
A wonderful wedding with uplighting, and saw an amazing Colin the caterpillar cake surrounded by a sight I couldn’t believe; and a handful of fantastic adult birthday parties for some genuinely lovely people, receiving some heartwarming comments.
As well as 5 fantastic kid’s birthdays, one with the large LED 5 hire, and first few parties with my brand-new, exciting and high-energy games! 🤩
