I am very proud to be sharing this announcement that this little business I started 35 years ago, has now officially expanded!! John's Whippy now has 2 vans out and about from today! Meaning "those who prefer the best" ice cream will now be available to even more people!

Many of you will have already met my daughter, Jodie, who I have been training up since she could walk; to one day join me on this venture! Now at 24, she's gave in to her old man and said she is ready to take this on. So after leaving her previous employment to join me here full time last year, she now officially will be taking over my previous van from today!

This is not me announcing my retirement, don't panic! I still have many more happy years left in me doing this job I love! I am very excited for this new busy chapter in my business and can't wait for you all to see my new van in person! (Please take all the photos you like and share them with me!)

We are taking bookings now for any events, parties or occasions etc so please don't hesitate to get in touch!

What a blast from the past!! Kept these from my days serving at Sutton Girls school, the kids very kindly put this together for me when I left and I just couldn’t throw it away!

Was a pleasure working here every day all those years ago and what is so lovely now is some of these kids now bring their own kids to get ice creams from me! Full circle for those who prefer the best! 🍦😎🍦

2024 season is in full swing! Lovely starting to get back out and see everyone’s faces these last few weeks after a long winter ~ one customer in particular got the first selfie of the year today, of course it was Kevin the minion!
