These Christmas lights cost £6,000 to put up and £40 a week in electricity bills, but I believe they are worth every penny, because the rest of the street donates money for me to give to charity in return. Ive been lighting up my parents house in The Hennalls, Bromford since I was 14. One year I raised money for Macmillan charity after the death of my grandmother. This time around, I am donating f
unds to the Make A Wish Foundation, and I hope to raise even more. I have to start putting the Christmas lights up earlier and earlier each year as I get more and more. I absolutely love doing it. I love Christmas and I love raising money for charity. I urge people to come along, enjoy the lights and give a donation. It’s all for a great cause. Everyone is just amazed by my work. The community comes especially to have a look. They can’t believe how good it is. The front of the house takes the longest to decorate. I start thinking about the light display in August. A lot of planning goes into the switch-on event. I’ve got thousands of bulbs – you’re probably looking at 20,000 bulbs at least.
A nice set up today completed for solihull council children services at the nec.

What a busy week we've had so far!!!
Saturday- we ended up doing some carnival games, popcorn and floss with Midlands premier events.
Then onto a couple of indoor bookings one in shard end and the other for Hurley Primary School summer fair.
Monday- we supplied some inflatables to Chivenor Primary School then onto Rodeobull for prom on the evening.
Today- we supplied Hodge Hill Primary School with a big setup of inflatables for year 6.
That's not even it several more School bookings booked in for the rest of the week

Another busy weekend for Tom's lights events. We started the weekend off with supplying castles for loads of people celebrating Eid on Friday, then onto a local event for the Saturday plus a few garden hires then we finished off Saturday with hiring a magic mirror out for a 21st birthday party, then today we have hired our assault course out.
