Hertfordshire based florist, specialising in beautiful weddings, events and flowers arrangements for Hello I'm Kristina, owner of Flowers by Kristina.

I have a fashion and textiles background but have always had a passion for flowers. I retrained as a wedding florist with special training in large structures and event florist which has given me excellent experience and the ability to tackle any floral dreams you may have for your special day.

I would describe my floral design style as seasonal and romantic with a modern twist. I pride myself o

f using complex colour palettes and textures. Whether you book me for your wedding day, a Christmas workshop or a Mothers Day bouquet I will ensure the most wonderful display of seasonal flowers.

You will find me either in my home workshop in Bishop's Stortford, East Hertfordshire, surrounded by buckets bursting with beautiful flowers or fiddling with flowers up a ladder to transform a venue into a space your guests will never forget. It really is the most special job.

We are ideally located for events and occasions in Hertfordshire, Cambridgeshire, Essex and beyond.

Creating this beautiful meadowy ceremony space last year for Lauren and Luke was such a highlight! I then moved the meadows to the front of the top table to get the most out of the flowers! Repurposing is key ✨ and something we will chat through during a consultation. Loved this gorgeous set up for Sophie and Robert last November ✨ the ceremony barn at Milling Barn is just so cosy and beautiful! The arch was then moved to behind the top table to really maximise its potential. ✨ Christmas Wreath Workshops are now live for booking ✨

We will be at The Coach and Horses, in the private conservatory, for 2 sessions this year;
🎄Saturday 25th November - 9.30am
🎄Thursday 30th November - 7.30pm (50% sold out already)

As always there will be a huge range of luxury materials to decorate your wreaths with. Along with a free drink and everything else you could possibly need to create your beautiful wreath.

I can't wait to see this years creations already!

Day 7 of is Proud Moment

I think this has to be anytime I see a review come through from a past couple. It genuinely means the world to hear that you were happy with everything after the wedding. It's just the most special thing to read at the end of all the hard work and it makes all the late nights, early starts and cold, filthy hands completely worth their while.

Day 5 of is P A S S I O N

My passion has got to be the flowers. From the ordering process which is a thrill in itself being a live flower auction, to the excitement of waiting for them to arrive to the conditioning and seeing all of the flowers together in one place for the first time to the creating of all the arrangements to the delivery and set up. I just love it ALL and feel so passionate about it and just generally delighted to be able to call this my 'job'.

Day 4 of is favourite flower

What a tricky question for any flower lover let alone florist... I've thought really long and hard about this one and it just has to be a Scabious.

Possibly one of the worst names for such a beautiful flower but it's just so beautiful and special and I love it in a bridal bouquet for all its bouncy, feminine and floaty qualities.

I felt so torn choosing it feels only right to note my top 5 wedding florals here;
1. Scabious
2. Garden Rose
3. Peonies
4. Butterfly Ranunculus
5. Clematis

With very special mention to sweetpeas, stocks, anemones, delphiniums, cosmos... see we just can't choose!

So Day 3 is all about D E T A I L S

Something I really pride myself on is detail. As much as I love the big floral showstoppers sometimes it is all the tiny elements coming together that create the magic. Whether that's 10 beautiful buttonholes that complement the groomsmen outfits as well as the bridal flowers or the perfect colour trailing silk ribbon from your bouquet or the perfect tapered candles on the tables. All these little details help in creating a seamless and elegant style which will flow through your day making it instantly special for all involved.

I really love pulling together all the little details and we go through this during our final consultation giving you complete peace of mind that I've got you and you don't have a thing to worry about as far as your flowers go.

✨ Surrounded by flowers + faffing = My happy place ✨

What a joy it is to be asked to bring your wedding flower vision to life. Flowers can create so much impact and really can transform venues and spaces. I especially adore working with the blank canvas of a marquee. Statement pieces such as hanging clouds, arches and abundant tablescapes can create so much magic.

I have some AMAZING marquee weddings lined up this year and I cannot wait to see them come to life. I appreciate decorating a marquee can be a daunting task for many couples and I am here to help you break it all down and make it really simple and more importantly stunning.

✨It's been such a wonderful start to the year here at FBK headquarters.

Its been slow... but in the best possible way. Wedding season is so go, go, go that it's just been so lovely to take some time to rest and recover and rethink things before the next season starts again. Working in the wedding industry has really taught me to relax and go with the ebb and flow of the work and not be think of these quiet times as unproductive. Some months are manic and my feet don't touch the ground whilst other months are calm and allow time to work on the business to make it the best it can be for all my amazing couples.

Ive spent the last couple of months really enjoying my time chatting to couples about wedding flowers, sending out proposals I am proud of, bursting with detail and love, spending time with my family who are just everything to me and having a good old sort out of the workshop before my season kicks off in a matter of weeks.

I really do take this 'quiet' time with so much gratitude but I am also itching to have a workshop full of gorgeous flowers again too... bring on 2023 ✨

I am often asked to provide flowers for wedding cakes and its always such a joy to see the amazing cakes dressed in fresh flowers. I will liaise with your cake maker directly in the lead up so the only thing you need to worry about is who gets the biggest slice 💕

I just love the vibe 💕Its just the coolest barn venue around...

✨The team are AMAZING and the backdrop is just the most perfect mix of rustic, boho, cool and modern.

Plus they have amazing props at your disposal like the rustic ceremony arch and lots of milk churns dotted around, all just waiting to be filled and decorated with gorgeous flowers.

Oh and glamping for your guests... the coolest reception barn full of long banquet tables, so many amazing places for pictures and a gorgeous cat called Tyson... I could go on and on! Check out their instagram if you're looking for an amazing barn venue! I just love it!

✨Theres just so much joy in this gorgeous photo of Chloe and Mitch as they said 'I do' last June

C+M had a beautiful church wedding 💒 followed by a marquee reception at her family home, surrounded by the most beautiful early summer flowers. Peonies were a big feature alongside scabious, clematis, sweetpeas and stock all in soft pastel shades. We repurposed all of the ceremony flowers in the reception after to really get the most out of it all.

Just such a joy to be involved in this one 💕 I love building relationships with my couples and this was a special one...

✨ Sweetpea season is just around the corner..

The lovely Kay wanted to honour her late Grandad with her bouquet and with sweetpeas being his favourite flower there was only one thing for it...

You just can't beat the texture and movement of this flower and I can't begin to tell you how beautiful this bouquet smelt too.

Flowers often have so much personal meaning to people and I'm always happy to make sure your favourites are included 💕

Any wedding florist will tell you that handing over the bridal bouquet is the most nerve wracking part of our jobs! Not the ladder climbing, keeping everything cool in the heat of summer or driving a transit vans full of flowers... simply handing over the bridal bouquet. The amount of hours that have gone into planning, prepping and putting it all together will never not mean so much 💕
