Organisers VisitBlackpool have announced the postponement of the first World Fireworks Championship event on the night of Saturday 17 September because of the proximity to the State funeral of Queen Elizabeth II. It is rescheduled to October half-term. This means the revised dates for the four firework events are:

💥 Saturday 1 October - Caribe Fire FX represent the Caribbean island of Barbados

💥 Saturday 15 October - Celtic Fireworks represent the home nation of Wales

💥 Thursday 27 October - Fireworks Factory from Finland

💥 Friday 28 October - a showcase event as part of the Coral Island sponsorship
