Beef cooked over flames, perfectly medium rare. One of life’s pleasures! You know I love to talk about it but the beef we buy is only the best of the best. Aberdeen Angus beef, from a wonderful farm just outside Wimborne. Dry aged and expertly butchered which ever cut you choose. I then dry brine the meat before it sits over embers and flames to cook ready for a FEAST!

Join us for a magical evening around the house and grounds From the beguiling charms of the walled garden, to the peaceful lawns, vibrant wildflower meadows and native woodlands beyond. We are offering a real taste of the world the Estate inhabits.

From May onwards, you can buy tickets to a monthly evening to honour the changing of the seasons.

Celebrating the abundance of local produce, botanicals and fauna all around, from field, to hedgerow and onto the fires before touching your plate. Supper will be prepared and cooked over live fire. Link in my bio for more details!

RIB OF BEEF! Absolutely cracking grass fed Aberdeen Angus, dry aged and expertly butchered with a long bone, probably the perfect piece of beef. We hung it over the fire for hours till it was medium rare and rendered. What a treat

Flames and Feasts is a fire cooking private event caterer based just outside Dorchester.

We are looking for a part time kitchen assistant to help in our prep kitchen 1 mile from Dorchester.

Ideally working day time Thursdays, Fridays and some Saturdays from the end of April to October ideally but flexibility here.

The ideal person would have some experience working with food or events but open to discussion.

Great hourly rate and fuel paid for.

The role would include assisting the kitchen team with day to day and helping at events in the kitchen serving wonderful clients

Would be ideal for someone looking for flexible work and hours or a student back for the summer.

Cooking on fire creates such a wonderful atmosphere for parties and guests always love to come warm up and chat to us about what we do! ❤️🔥

The two main questions we get asked are ‘how do you cook it right on the fire?’ Or ‘where is your produce from?’

A old fire is a good fire. Everything on the fire requires careful care and attention from a slow cook of the rib of beef hanging high on the fire to using the embers to fast cook scallops.
