Not even the Ghost of Christmas Future saw this one coming πŸ‘»

We all know the classic Dickens Christmas tale, but did you ever wonder what happened after the ghosts scarpered?

Sure, Scrooge changed his miserly ways but you know how the economy is, it wasn’t nearly enough to combat the Cratchet’s poverty. Time makes fools of us all and it’s turned Tim (don’t let him catch you calling him Tiny) into a bitter and angry bad boy, a cunning and ruthless cat burglar out for his share of Ebenezer’s ill gotten gains...

This comic twist on A Christmas Carol is written and performed by Lecoq trained clown Ethel Darling, delivered in a way that’s never been done before.

For the Tiny Tims and elder Ebeneezers, the young and young and heart. Hah! Bumhug is a festive comedy suitable for all ages.

Going out with a bang 😎

In 2022, our Events Programmer Mimi won Cornwall Comedian of the Year - on her third gig EVER! Since then she's carried on gigging across the South West, promoting other comedians, and making people laugh.

That same year, Mimi shook up the scene with the 'Beasts of Bodmin' comedy nights. They were a hit.

And so they have continued, bringing big names on the comedy scene to this Cornish town. Giving fantastic up-and-comers a voice. And, of course, showing our audiences a great time.

With a range of performers, you can always expect Beasts of Bodmin to bring exciting, fresh, and hilarious performances to the stage. That's what keeps people coming back.

Mimi will be hosting the last comedy night of 2024, with award-winning headliner Katie Norris. Check out more on our events page at intobodmin.co.uk/ πŸ‘€
