It's our wish here at Wild & Wondrous Flowers to work as sustainably as possible. We endeavour to do this by stocking and using as many British grown and ethically certified imported flowers as possible. Wild & Wondrous promote the use of vases and containers that are recyclable or reusable. We carry a large range of vintage pots, upcycled jars, and recycled glass vases. All our bouquets are wrapp

ed in compostable/biodegradable tissue, kraft paper and raffia. We have created a range of designs that are free from floral foam and plastics for gifts, weddings, and funerals. The majority of the flowers used for our summer and autumn weddings are British, some are grown only 6 miles away!! We have a special relationship with a local sweet pea grower, RHS Tatton gold medal winner 2014, 2015, & 2016 and a lovely local flower grower.

To celebrate the first National Florist Day on the 8th of June, Wild & Wondrous is opening its doors to local children who would like to find out more about floristry and what we sell in our shop. Oh wow I made the short list. Feeling humbled to see my name on the with so many amazing florists 💚💐

It's taken longer than planned simply because the list of nominees was longer than expected! But the Selection Panel have now announced the final nominees being considered for the first National Florist Day Faces of Floristry. There's over 200 on the list ... now they have to whittle it down further to reach the final 100 .. we don't envy them their job. Today’s eco funeral tribute 100% biodegradable, no wires just a base stuffed with moss. I even tipped it upside down and did the shake test, nothing fell out!!
