As we turn the page into a new year I’d like to thank you all for your kind support this year, particularly those of you who have entrusted me with farewell flowers for your loved ones as I particularly enjoy creating these tributes. Looking ahead and forward to the floral calendar to come and with that I’m off to sow my sweet peas ready for next year.

Christmas foliage from £15 a wrap, including accessories baubles, cinnamon etc. Ideal if you’d like something long lasting for a vase or container. Fresh flowers can of course be added if you are gifting. I can also fill your favourite vase or container.

I’ve been using some of this windy weekend to work on some festive arrangements. The red and silver wreath is in need of home and is available for £35. I’ve limited capacity for bespoke wreaths from £40. Table arrangements can be ordered from £22.50 for a single candle and £30 for two candles. I’m also taking orders for grave tributes in the form of mixed foliage small wreath with natural decorations from £20.

The difference when we turn on the light. Bringing the light into our homes adds to the magic as we prepare for Christmas. I’m sending thoughts of peace and goodwill to all as we begin this advent season.

Think this is the earliest I’ve had my own wreath up for a few years, go me! This is because I was running a workshop for a group of Rangers last night and after making this to use as my example I decided to keep it. If you’d like to make or buy one let me know.

As the days grow darker many of us like to bring in the light with candles. Celebrate Advent by making your own advent candle arrangement. I’ll then show you how to keep and refresh it so you can add another candle and use it on your Christmas table.
