This Monday we welcome Capricorn 1 who will be appearing at our Monday night Live sessions for the first time. Capricorn 1 play 1970s Funk and a fusion of soul and rare latin grooves. If you like any of the following acts you'll love Capricorn 1 - Tower of Power, The Brecker Brothers, Seawind, MIke Stern, Stuff, Earth Wind & Fire, Lonnie Liston Smith, Charles Earland, James Taylor Quartet.

Capricorn 1 is led by bassist Paul Francis, an experienced and accomplished musician who has played with Midge Ure, Galliano, James Taylor Quartet & Paul Weller among others. Appearing with Paul will be Dave Mayne drums, Simon Mellish percussion, Ray Drury keyboards and Ian Ellis Saxophone and guests. If you like 1950's Rock 'n' Roll why not come to The Bournemouth Rock Café this Thursday (April 24th). We've got the fabulous Blue Cadillacs playing live downstairs. In the late 1980s The Blue Cadillacs were one of the most popular and hard-working Rock n' Roll bands on the circuit, sometimes playing over three hundred shows a year. They have been featured live on Radio 2 and performed at many conventions and venues up and down the country. Original members Dean Robbins Bob Mace & Carl Chamberlain have now reformed and together with double-bassist Andy Marns are bringing their brand of energetic Rockabilly and Rock n' Roll to an enthusiastic reception from both old fans and new audiences alike.
