Dear Friends
Thank you so much for joining us for Remembrance Sunday. I’ve never seen the club so full, and it was truly a beautiful day and service. I’d like to extend my heartfelt gratitude to the bugler and the standard bearer, whose contributions added so much to the day. A special thanks also goes out to our hardworking bar staff and the committee for all the efforts over the past month to make this day a success.

As we look ahead, Christmas is fast approaching, and we have some wonderful evenings planned. Keep an eye on the posters outside the club and on this page for upcoming events. We look forward to seeing you there!

Dear Members and Friends of the Club,

We would like to extend our deepest thanks to all of you for attending Julie's funeral last Friday, and for joining us afterwards at the wake—sorry, the celebration of her life. It meant the world to her family and friends to have you there, honoring her memory in such a special way.

Julie would have loved seeing everyone together, sharing stories, laughter, and fond memories of her. Once again, from the bottom of our hearts, thank you for your support, love, and kindness during this time.

Julie's funeral will be held on Friday, 4th October at 12 noon at Bournemouth Crematorium; everyone is welcome. Julie's family would like to invite you all to join them in celebrating her life at the Winton & Moordown Royal British Legion from 1pm for refreshments.

It is with great sadness that I have to inform you of the passing of Julie Griffith, Secretary of the Club.

Our thoughts are with her family and friends at this sad time.

Heads Up Charity music event. Saturday 20th July - 3pm til 11pm at the Winton & Moordown Royal British Legion Club on Wimborne Road, Bournemouth, BH9 2AR.

We are now 3 weeks away from this incredible event! A whole day of live music and fun! With a bar and food truck Mental Lentil, raffles, family fun and a hilarious interactive music quiz as well as all the high calibre bands and musicians this is a day not to miss!

We're raising money to fund a music therapy project for people in Dorset who have had a brain injury, so come along for a fun fundraising day! £10 suggested donation on the door, a bargain to see all these fantastic bands, and for a fantastic cause!
