🌎❤️🌎❤️ World Su***de Prevention Day 🌎❤️🌎❤️
❤️ Uncomfortable word... su***de... but not wanting to shy away from feeling uncomfortable - here's what I did today...
❤️ Took my POP-UP Sprinkle Table to a local BCHA supported accommodation for people living with mental health, which supports them to get back into independent living and back into the communication
❤️ Met several residents who produced some fun designs (see pic)
❤️ Worked with a group of lovely care home residents who were visiting for the morning - what a lovely sense of non-judgemental COMMUNITY
❤️ Most of the support workers also had a go at biscuit decorating
❤️ Smiles were all round and fun chat!
❤️ They had BEES up in their lobby! 🐝
❤️ I left my own idea of what makes me feel better when I feel down on their wall of HOPE
❤️ I told Mini-Me what I was up to today (on the school run) and her first comment was, "Oh, that's not very good" and then after thinking about it, "prevention - I guess that's ok then" - she is very wise!
