Our June dates are now live! Please note there are a few dates in June that we are not running but all available dates are on bookwhen (link in biooooo)

Sadly, we have had to make the hard decision to raise our prices. We have held off as long as we could but unfortunately with the rising cost of the hall hire, messy play supplies, baking supplies and craft supplies - we can’t stay where we are for much longer without compromising on our trays and bakes! With this in mind, from the 1st June we have decided to raise our ticket prices by just 50p, meaning that the new prices will be:

⭐️ £8.00 for 1 adult, 1 child
⭐️ £11.50 for 1 adult 2 children
⭐️ £4.00 for an additional child over 6 months
⭐️ An extra adult remains the same but please ensure that extra adults are booked on so we can plan for cake numbers!

It’s never a nice thing to have to do, and we hope you understand so that we can still continue to bring you the best messy play group!! 🥳 The new price takes effect on the 1st June so if you want to secure your place at the reduced rate for the next week book now!

Thank you all for your patience while we’ve had a break from our sessions over these past couple of weeks. We are sorry to say that there has been a family bereavement and we are conscious of giving our Mayhem family all the time they need 🤍

While we get back to our regular schedule there may be a change in days but we will update you here.

Important information!

We’re really sorry to say we’re having to cancel next weeks mini sessions! Poor Celia has had a family emergency and needs to be with them until further notice and Laura is on holiday!

We’ll be back on the 22nd! Anyone who is booked on for next week will be moved to then. Please let us know if that doesn’t work for you and we can move you to another date.

We love a new theme and this was a fan favourite for sure! We’ll definitely bring this Alice in Wonderland one back - it was so much fun!

The mini’s explored the forest, encountered the caterpillar before bumping in to the Cheshire Cat and ending up at the mad hatters tea party! 🫖🎂🍰🌸🎩

🎶 It's gonna be May.....

We have a busy month lined up for you! Our brand new theme is kicking off May (moved from the other month!) We can't wait to get stuck in with this one 👩 🕙 🐰 ♥️ 🦩
You may have spied another brand new theme at the end of this month too! 🧡 🐻 Our creative heads have been spinning!

There is no session in Bodicote on the 9th, but we will be back the following week!

We have had such a great response to our clothes swap, it's been lovely to see our mayhem community coming together. If you are having a sort out please think of us and bring any clean wearable clothes (or spare child's hangers please!) and we can add them to the rail. Feel free to browse during the sessions and take what you fancy! 💚

This week at Mini Mayhem has been all about Earth Day!

This Earth day, we are reflecting on our green thinking and ensuring that and are as green as can be. As a group we are already very conscious in what we use including:

🟢 Ensuring our themes are planned around supplies we already have
🟢 Any leftovers from the play trays are repurposed in our Muddy Mayhem mud kitchens
🟢 Salvageable offcuts from the craft table are reimagined as other crafts, as well as sourcing biodegradable glitter (working on the sequins!) and using confetti from old balloons
🟢 Our props and supplies are more often than not sourced second hand, gifted to us or from our own supply.
🟢 If brought new, we ensure it can be reused again and again. Which is why you will regularly see our silicone cases and wooden scoops, we even wash the pom poms!

As parent's we all know how quickly our mini's grow out of their clothing and knowing that the fashion industry is a shocking number 6 in the global polluter top 10 chart, we wanted to do something about it - so we have decided to start a clothes swap!

From this week, in our Mini Mayhem sessions, you will spot a second-hand clothing rail for children's clothes - please feel free to take what you need and if you would like to contribute, please bring along any clean pieces that can be added to the rail. We will regularly donate anything left behind to the local baby banks 💚🌍

🦀 🐠 Under The Sea 🧜‍♀️🪸

This week’s theme has been a big hit with the minis! Lots of messy trays to explore - mermaid lagoon, coral reef, red rice crab, deep sea diving, shipwreck island. We also have a jellyfish craft! 🪼

🧑‍🎨 WORLD ART DAY👩‍🎨

We are all about fostering creativity at Mini Mayhem and we love to see the artwork and creations your minis produce every week! We work hard to come up with crafts that the minis can try on their own so they can express and develop their artistic skills! 🎨

Art in the early years helps to develop brain capacity and engages children’s senses in open ended play as well as practicing those all important fine motor skills.👌🏻

Most important of all, it’s fun and they can take home something they’re proud to share! 💚

If you haven't tried a Mini Mayhem session yet, what are you waiting for! We have fabulous toddler friendly messy play trays that come alive with a new theme each week - we regularly post our themes on stories so keep an eye out there.

All of our trays are designed to be explored, eaten, squished, scooped and even sat in! We always use taste safe options (and where we haven't we will always advise before the session starts!)

Hello Spring 🌷 How lovely is it to see some blue skies, finally! (At the time of writing this, anyway!) We have a busy April for you all, we are still running over the Easter break (with the exception of Thursday 4th in Banbury) As always siblings are welcome and we will make sure there are some crafts available for them, we know many of you have little ones in school who look forward to Mayhem in the half terms! These are booking up so make sure you secure your place if you want to join us.

Castles 🏰 and Dragons 🐉 was the theme at Mini Mayhem this week 💚

The minis explored a Zog inspired spaghetti 🍝 tray, Looked after the horses 🐴 in the royal stables, got chilly in the Frozen ice palace 🧊, got messy in the oobleck sky full of dragons 🐉 and attended a royal 🫅 tea party 🎉

2 years ago 📖💛 who remembers when we had our story corner? It didn’t last long, as we quickly realised that the mini’s just wanted to get stuck in with the messy play! 😂

This week at Mini Mayhem we are on the farm 🚜

We tried out a very realistic worm tray and although some of the minis were hesitant at first, they soon got stuck in! 🪱

This week at Mini Mayhem we have been celebrating Chinese New Year 🏮(this Saturday) and the upcoming year of the dragon 🐉

We were so sorry to have to cancel our class at the rugby club this morning and are hugely grateful for so many offers of help from our Mayhem community - you guys are the best! 💚

Celia will be back to the dance floor next week - maybe hobbling a little… 🪩

Not just for messy play! Did you know that we dedicate a section of the session to music and dance? The mini’s can groove along to their favourite nursery rhymes and popular songs with a variety of props.

Each Mini Mayhem session follows the same structure - songs, cake, messy play. We know how the mini’s love routine! We pause for a short cake break before the themed messy play is brought out - it’s mayhem, and we love it!

Today was our last session of 2024 at Mini Mayhem and we had a big old Christmas party with a very special visit from Father Christmas 🎅

Thank you to everyone who has supported our little business this year, we’ve loved every second of it and can’t wait to come back refreshed for 2024 to bring you and your minis lots more messy fun and of course singing and dancing!
