The last 7 months have been absolutely amazing and I adore Pop Up Play Village and everything it is about, especially the ethos around children learning through role play.

I have managed to succeed in some of the fields that Pop Up Play Village offer ( sold out play sessions, parties, EYFS & school visits, HAF holiday clubs however sobmuch more to offer) I also have an amazing following on my social media platforms. I have made friends and connections with so many people and my time with Pop Up Play Village has been such a fab time of my life! ❤️

The decision to sell was not made lightly and i have shed many tears. However I due to health issues i simply cannot continue, i really hope this business brings as much joy to its next owner as it has to me.

Our village is not just for the kids, it is for the whole family to enjoy!

We want the grown ups visiting our village to have just as much fun as the little ones so we have made sure that our village is as stress free and relaxing as possible.

We have an open plan design so that grown ups can see their little ones at all times. This creates a stress free environment and allows children to develop confidence to explore as they like. Our village is great for a mixed age range of children meaning that siblings can come and play together! As our village is open plan , you can see all of your children at the same time no matter what direction they choose to play in.

We have large play areas so that adults can fit in the play areas with their children creating a high quality, family play experience. Not only this, several families can play in a play area at the same time. This means that adults as well as children can socialise together!

Our village is fun as well as being very educational, it is a great place for the whole family to come together to have quality family time in a stress free and relaxing environment.

It's National Siblings Day! Our village has been completely designed with siblings in mind! Here's a blog that our franchisor Becky has written all about it:

The idea of Pop Up Play Village came to me when I was looking for somewhere to take my children to and I couldn’t find anything suitable. At the time, my son was two and my daughter was a couple of months old. I was looking for a class where they would both benefit, learn and have fun in a safe environment where I could keep my eyes on both of them. I couldn’t find anything that offered this at the time. There were many classes specifically for babies or toddlers but nothing that suited them both. I remember saying to my husband ‘Why isn’t there a role play village that just pops up at local venues?’ That was when the Pop Up Play Village seed was planted in my head and our journey began!

As I had young children at the time, I knew it was paramount that the Pop Up Play Village design needed to be open plan so that our customers would be able to see their children all of the time no matter where they were in the village creating a relaxing and safe environment for everyone. Also, as a result of having an open plan design, it allows children to freely move from one play area to another taking resources with them enabling them to truly let their imaginations run wild. With my teacher hat on, this is an amazing way to encourage creative thinking in a child led environment.

One of the aspects of Pop Up Play Village that I love is that the design and the way that it has been created is great for siblings to come to play sessions together. When my children were little, before they went off to school, they often came to work with me. They got so much out of attending the play sessions and seeing them having quality time to play together was so very special. I love that our classes are great for children of different ages and that the way in which the village is set up allows children to have high quality role play experiences in a safe environment where their grown ups can see them at all times. I definitely have my children to thank for the inspiration for the design of Pop Up Play Village!

Holiday club will run Monday 8th to Thursday 11th.

Take a read of our blog written by our franchisor and creator Becky all about our value 'High Quality Play Areas'.

When I launched Pop Up Play Village 7 years ago, I had a choice whether to create the village as cost effective as possible or source the best products of the highest quality that I could find. I decided to go with the second option. Not only did I want the products to be long lasting and durable but I also wanted our visitors both children and adults to be wowed by the quality of resources that we have chosen to create our village. I’m very lucky that when a new Pop Up Play Village franchise launches in a new area, I get to go along to the launch event. I never get bored of our lovely customers complimenting us on the high quality equipment that we use. It’s amazing that we get recognised for this and it is a value that is very important to us and the ethos of our village.

As well as the resources that we use being the best quality, I think that the size of our play areas also make the play areas high quality. When we have many children playing within a play area, it wouldn’t be a high quality play area if there wasn’t enough resources for them to play with. When I designed our village, I made sure that there were plenty of resources for many children to play together. Children love to imitate and play alongside others and to do this, they often need to be playing with the same items. In our play areas, they can certainly do this.

In order for us to create high quality play areas, we feel that it is vital that there are no borders or backdrops in our village. Borders or backdrops limit the size that the play areas can be. Each play area needs to be open plan to be large enough for several families to play together. Also the connections that children make between one play area and another because our village is open plan create the high quality learning experiences that we so often see in our village.

Our village is lovely, I know I am biased but it really is and special moments are made in our village every day. This value of ours to have high quality play areas is vital for our village and a huge part of what makes it special.

Pop Up Play Village is seriously suited for siblings as our classes and events are suitable for children aged 0-8 years old. Role play is an amazing way for children to learn and whilst they are role playing they are learning at the level that is suitable for them. This is why our village is great for mixed aged children. As well as our village being very educational, we’re also all about family fun. Our village is a great way for siblings to have high quality play time together.

Here’s our 10 reasons why we think our parties are stress free and perfect for young children:

- You don’t need to do any prep on the build up to the party, we will have the entertainment covered for the whole duration of the party.

- Each Pop Up Play Village party is unique as the birthday child and their family can pick out the play areas that they would like. This is such a special thing to do and it builds up excitement for the party.

- Our village is flexible to suit the space which means we can run big or small parties in a large or a smaller space, in a venue or even in your house. The choice is yours to make!

- On the day of the party, there is no setting up required when you book a party with us. We do all the setting up of the entertainment so that you can enjoy getting ready for the party with your little one.

- On arrival at a Pop Up Play Village party, we find that the children settle quickly into enjoying the party. Sometimes parties can be daunting for little ones but we find that because our village is child led exploratory play, they get stuck in playing straight away.

- Our parties are brilliant for mixed ages which is great as there are often a variety of ages attending a party and it enables all children to have a great time together.

- We often get complimented by guests that our parties are calm and relaxed which tends to mean the children are happy and engrossed in their play. Our village is fun, engaging and can entertain children for hours as the children let their imaginations run wild.

It's World Book Day! Let's celebrate books today!

Here at Pop Up Play Village, we absolutely love books and stories and value how important it is that children enjoy loving to look at books and listen to stories. This inspires children to want to read as they get older.

We have our beautiful library play area that is an amazing place to share a book together but we also make sure that we have print all around our village too.
