This last week has probably been the most amazing for me as a celebrant, not only have I had the privilege of delivering five services for families that have lost their loved ones, but I also had the honour of supporting my beautiful sister Julie with her wedding to Andy at The Old Marylebone Town Hall ( one hundred weddings in one day ) last Tuesday, and then on Saturday led their Blessing and Celebration service at our family church in Cryers Hill. We lit the venue with candles and fairylights, very much in keeping with their theme, and welcomed nearly 90 people to join the occasion with us. The service was filled with songs, hymns, prayers ( led by the wonderful Rev. Rachael Prince ),tributes and poems, plus a hand fasting ceremony with personalised ribbons as a keepsake. It will be a day and a week Iโll treasure for all time, and a year ago would never have believed this would be my life now. I am so very lucky ๐
Halfway through a very busy week.. but seems to be going well ๐
What a fascinating and comforting experience to take a tour behind the scenes at Dignity Pet Crematorium today. So much love and thought that goes in to making sure that our beloved pets have the best care after life ๐ #petcelebrant #PetMemorial
