Kidzplay Update — A New Chapter Begins
After 18 incredible years, our Harrogate site will be changing hands next week — the end of an era that holds so many memories for me. It was my first play centre, the place where my kids grew up, and where I had the privilege of working alongside some amazing people — especially Steph, Ang, and Alison, who have been with me since the very beginning. Their loyalty, humour, and heart have shaped Kidzplay in ways I’ll always be grateful for. 💛
But this isn’t goodbye to Kidzplay — far from it.
I’m excited to share that I’ll be continuing with Kidzplay Shipley, and there are lots of exciting plans ahead for the site and the community we’re building there. Shipley has always had its own special energy, and I can’t wait to focus on growing it even further.
While in Palma recently, helping a close friend who has been diagnosed with incurable bone cancer, I was reminded how fragile and precious life is. Change is never easy — but it’s often where growth begins.
So, as I close one chapter and carry another forward, I’m feeling deeply grateful — for every family, child, and team member who’s been part of this journey. And I’m excited about what’s next — continuing to support families and businesses through their own changes, challenges, and new beginnings.
