December 6th 2025, 5-7pm at Charmouth church. Tables £10 money refunded if you’re raising money for charity or are a local organisation fundraising. All stalls considered!

This village knows how to party! Party in the Park in Charmouth on Saturday, August 9th, was an incredible day filled with fun and community spirit! The event featured fantastic live music that had everyone dancing, bouncy castles that were a hit with the kids, creative face painting, and awesome DJ sets to keep the energy high. The BBQ was sizzling with delicious food, and the model plane show was a spectacular sight. We're thrilled to announce that thanks to everyone's support, we raised a significant amount of money for local charities. A huge thank you to all who attended, volunteered, and contributed to making the day such a resounding success!

WOW!! What a wonderful turn out for these incredible scarecrows! A round of allpause for the winners and all of the runners up. We are so proud of this village for the display and roll on 2026!!

It’s that time of year again! Not long to go to the party in the park. This year it’s bigger and better than ever! We hope to see you there, don’t forget to tell your friends!! Keep this village tradition going by making it the best attended it’s ever been!!

Starting off the fundraising for party in the park we have these two stunning paintings donated to us by the incredibly talented Paddy Sullivan of Charmouth. Paddy is a keen fundraiser for CALM and MIND and has donated these hand painted show stoppers.

We are starting the auctions online and they will continue at the event on Saturday. Online bids are open NOW.

Each paintings RRP is £220 so we are starting each bid at £20. Bid on the individual photo of the front of the painting you would like.

Your map and list of scarecrows, ready for hunting!!
You can pick up a map in either Charmouth stores (now) or The Royal Oak (from 23rd) to start the search.

So much hard work and effort have gone into these wonderful creations and to have a whopping 25 entries on our first year is incredible and we are so beyond excited to get out there and look around. Some of them haven’t made it out yet but we know they’re on their way.

Don’t forget to cast your votes so our first ever scarecrow champion can be awarded at the party in the park on August 9th.

Today is your final day to get those forms in for your scarecrow!! We will be making the map this evening. Deadline 2pm so that the maps can be ready for tomorrow for all the voting.

We have had a good lot of entries so far and cannot wait to see everyone’s creations!!

Get ready for some straw-stuffed fun! Our village is hosting its first-ever scarecrow making competition! Time to get creative and show off your crafting skills. The first theme is music legends so think of the great ones and craft them from hay 😂

You can collect an entry form from either Nisa or The Royal Oak. Scarecrows should be built and on display by July 21!! Maps available from 21/6.
