Having inherited the love of flowers from my late mom, I decided to take this one step further and train as a Florist. I believe that flowers play an important part in our lives today. This could be a single bouquet of flowers to say " Happy birthday, get well soon, or congratulations ", it could be flowers to say " Good bye" to some one dear , or it could something more grand like a full weddin

g package. No matter how large or small your order or enquiry may be it is important to me that you are completely satisfied. It’s taken a lot of courage to actually write this post. But unfortunately due to being rushed into hospital and being seriously ill last year with sepsis and kidney failure and nearly loosing my life, then having major surgery in March and the rising cost of flowers etc , I have taken the decision to stop taking orders.
It’s been a very hard decision to make but I’m afraid my health and well being have to come first.
Thanks to all my previous loyal and happy customers.

Happy Saturday everyone. Just a little update , I’m back in hospital soon and have another few weeks of recovery after that. I’m still here to chat with but it’s at a much slower pace than many of you might be used to from me.

Just a little update.
With the effects of covid and the price of real flowers increasing I have taken the decision to only supply artificial flowers for weddings going forward. It’s been a hard decision to make as I love doing real flowers ,however I feel it’s the right one for me and my other commitments. This will not effect any current orders. Just a quick update on the wedding situation. I’m having a lot of enquiries everyday from brides who have been let down by other suppliers or have had to change suppliers for the new wedding date. I can only hold dates if a non refundable reservation deposit of £25 is paid. This can be changed if necessary so it’s not a lot for peace of mind you have secured your date. The remaining balance is then due one month before wedding date. Don’t be caught out without a florist for your special day.
Also available for all occasion flowers , births , birthdays , anniversaries and funeral tributes.

A BIT ABOUT ME.

Hi my name is Amanda and I run Amanda’s flower room.

I have always had a love of flowers it came from my mom. She had the most beautiful roses in her garden something I have also been able to copy since moving to our new house in 2019 The garden had not been touched for over two years so we had to start by taking down huge trees and sorting out the borders, we now have a beautiful selection of plants blossoming. I love being able to take a selection simple flower stems and arranging them into something more beautiful for other people to enjoy. May this be for a bouquet for a special occasion or something more grand like a wedding party or flowers for the breakfast room and bridal tables. I am happy to work with your requirements and budgets. I can provide real flowers and high quality silk flowers , whichever suits your needs.
