2024 has been one beautiful bastard of a year.

I’ve experienced the highest highs and lowest lows of both professional and personal circumstances. It has been a year full of growth and anxiety, the quietest year to date for work, the constant battle of trying to provide for the family whilst equally trying to live out my ideal career, working with some of the most kind and talented people as well as being completely supported by my closest friends and family. I’ve learnt more about the industry I choose to continue to work in, and the realisation that we’re just bloody numbers and loyalty means nothing has come to light. Most importantly I have learned that it is important to reach out to those closest when you need it, ask for help if you need it. And finally that most things that are troubling will eventually pass. That in order to grow you must push yourself out of your comfort zone, bet on yourself and try not to listen to the self doubt!

Of course I know I’m lucky to do what I do, and thankful for each opportunity that has come my way. I’m grateful for the lessons, for those I am and have been surrounded by. A massive thank you to all that have booked my services this year and next, to those that continue to help me grow to everyone that continues to support and believe in what I do.

I have no idea what 2025 has to share, 3 weeks ago I was ready to hang up the wand for good. I am retraining as we speak in another field completely different to entertainment yet has always been of interest! So, be on the lookout for another impulsive idea coming along 😂

This is why I do what I do! To create magic moments, assisting in helping a party, wedding or event run to the highest standard. I had an absolute blast working with Chelsea and Ryan to help where I could add that extra magic to their big day! From the pre-wedding meetings of planning the day to emergency chauffeuring on the big day, Performing close up magic, making the announcements, ushering the guests and beyond! I am so glad to have been given the chance and trusted to do what I do on such a special day! Thank you both again 🫶❤️

On August 14th at the variety show with no name we had the pleasure of having The great Desmondo and Cherry perform their swan song. Given that between both Des King and Cherry had over 100 years of theatrical service between them we felt it right to have their work recognised.

Along with a presentation of a lifetime achievement award for their commitment and contribution to the theatrical and magical arts from ourselves, No name show productions, and the Sussex magic circle, we put in a few calls to the magic circle to have some form of recognition for all that they have done.

We had to keep it a secret until this moment (in the video)… and it is a moment that we will never forget. At the end of the show it was announced that they had both been made Members of the inner magic circle with gold star. A send off we were proud to produce and one that will remain with us for life. Special thanks goes to Marvin Berglas for making this all happen and Lee Hathaway for coming all the way to Eastbourne to present the award!

To Des and Cherry: thank you for all that you have contributed to our community. For your endless education, warmth and friendship. It’s an honour to know you, to work with you and to share a stage with you. You truly, TRULY, are legends!

Thank you to all that support the shows and a special shoutout to Sam Jones - Magician and Rebecca Woolven for setting up all the filming equipment and painstakingly putting it all together.
