Last week I was lucky to be welcomed, along with other fabulous suppliers in the industry to experience first hand what makes this exclusive venue so unique. The warmth and passion shines through everything they do.

We explored the beautiful house and grounds, enjoyed a serene sound bath, and even had a tarot reading. 🔮 The food was out of this world, perfectly complementing their commitment to sustainability and impeccable attention to detail 🌱 They even make their own honey (the beehives are pink which makes it taste even better!)

Dewsall Court offers a variety of spaces for your ceremony, both indoors and outdoors, including an enchanting onsite church. There are so many hidden gems here, including a multi-disco ball dance floor and a basement after-party space, making it the perfect venue for an unforgettable celebration!

Thank you to Sam, Jane and the incredible .court team for your wonderful hospitality, I really didn’t want to leave!

Even if you’re super creative, and plan like a pro there may be a time when you realise you can’t do it all…

TV producer Tamsin absolutely smashed the wedding planning and even managed to get her hands on the BAFTAs red carpet (!), but with weeks to go before the big day they realised there was going to be an overwhelming amount of set up, and lots extra elements to coordinate on the day.

They booked us for styling set up, and OTD management so they could relax with friends and family the night before, and on the day they could party like their guests.

Handing over the reins meant the day they had worked so hard for went without a hitch.

Hey 👋🏻 I'm Rach, founder of Salt and Scent Events.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I've spent almost 20 years in the industry, from restaurant management, heading up weddings and events for a catering companies and award-winning venues, to freelancing on large scale events. Last year I took the plunge to set up my own company.
I love my job; getting to know my clients and bring their vision to life gives me so much joy. I 'm a typical Pisces - a creative, people pleaser, calm, and natural organiser. The hours are long in this business, and the pressure is high but it never feels like hard work to me, it really is the best industry to be in.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Here are some fun facts about me:
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I live on a small beef farm by the River Severn with my husband and two children. With only half an hour from Bristol and Cheltenham you'll often find me heading to the city for a buzz of creativity (and to fulfil my love of shopping!).
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
My ideal Sunday is a long walk with our dogs, followed by a good coffee or pub lunch. I also love to bake so Sunday brownies are a thing 🍫
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I love to learn new skills and have dabbled with cake decorating, interior design, and floristry, so I can fix pretty much anything if needs must!
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I enjoy keeping active (pretty important when doing an 18hr day), and often head to the local lake for a spot of wild swimming too.
