⋙ GADE SYSTEM ⋘

After spending 8 years playing sets and making tracks under his Breakcore/Jungle alias Breakforce One , Stuttgart based producer Rene Kuschnick decided to hit the reset button, reborn as Gade System.

Informed by the music of Neuro and Bass music artists like Noisia, Billain and the roster of Bristol based label Slug Wife, as well as the aggressiveness of Skullstep artists like Limewax and old Breakcore influences like Techdiff he started producing under the name of Gade System in 2021, the year he also released his debut EP C-SEC on Exe Project. This was followed by 2022's Painful Reminder EP on Jungle Syndicate.
In the short time since the end of the Covid lockdowns, Gade System has already played shows at Bangface, Boomtown, Balter and Jungle Syndicate.

He's also a pretty nice guy, although i cannot provide any sources for this right now.

After her training in classical music at a young age, (Johanna) Salander spent her formative years locked in a dark room creating noise music, laying the groundwork for her sonic vision of a neo-apocalypse future. The deciding moment of her career came at Bang Face Weekender in 2019, where she was exposed to the magnificence of the hardcore rave scene. From then onwards it became her life’s mission to learn, create and deliver only the hardest, most purifying anthems to the sonically starved peoples of the earth.

Salander’s music combines distorted basses, gut-punching snares, and kicks that you could cut your teeth on. All of which evokes a sense of cathartic rage, whilst maintaining an emotive edge, which is fundamental to her sound. In the hands of this consummate polyphonic composer, dystopia becomes something tangible, an evil that can be exorcised and tamed.

With multiple stellar performances at Balter Festival, Boomtown Fair and Varispeed already under her belt, and releases on Sonic Terror, Mindocracy and Coreligula, Salander is now ready to tour her craft far and wide.

Alex Melia - aka Reso - is a London based producer who needs little introduction; often referred to as the ‘Master of Drums’ he is responsible for some of the most dynamic and intelligent dancefloor focused records of the past decade. A highly influential producer who continuously concocts forward thinking and technically innovative bass music, he shows no signs of slowing his genre defying momentum for years to come.

Blending heightened technological futurism with dancefloor prowess, Reso continues to fabricate a densely cinematic musical universe that is distinctly of his own creation. With the release of his debut LP Tangram in 2012, Reso has since cemented himself as one of the world’s most eclectic producers; known for a staggering output that is equally emotive and unique. Pluvio melds matter-bending & modern Neuro sound design with solid breakbeat grooves to create these unique and hefty sonics and is one of the founders of the genre's premier label Symbiotik Records, alongside AKOV & Screamarts.

Pluvio has always been one to take an explorative approach to music, with a history in glitch hop and other experimental genres, it’s no surprise he finds himself at the forefront of the Neurobreaks movement.

Pluvio's live sets are a showcase of this relatively unexplored sound, delivered with the kind of energy and enthusiasm you would expect from someone driven by unchartered territory and sonic landscapes.

With over 20 years DJ, production and event promoting experience, Scheme Boy has been an integral part of the UK’s underground music scene. Whether it is Acid, IDM, Breakcore, Bass, Techno or Hardcore, Scheme Boy had covered it all… and usually in one set!

As a DJ, Scheme Boy is a festival favourite with many appearances at Bang Face, Balter, Glade, Boomtown and Defqon1 to his name. His world-renowned multi-genre sets stick out from the rest of the crowd as he weaves a sonic tapestry like no other, pulling threads from all sorts of scenes and styles to make his sound unique, personal and emotive. As someone who has worked largely within the Breakcore and Hardcore scenes of Europe, he hasn’t been scared to make melody and harmony a vital part of his set creation. There’s more to his shows than just dancefloor groove. They’re an emotional rollercoaster as well.

As a producer, Scheme Boy has worked with The Teknoist, Dolphin, Enduser, Kursa, Ben Pest and many more over the years. He has featured on the following labels; Ninja Columbo, Peace Off/Bang-a-Rang, Industrial Strength, Sustained Records, Nekrolog1k, Ad Noiseam, Rancorous Records, Anticlone, Love Love and Murder Channel. He has also been featured on a variety of video games and TV shows as well as contributing work to over 70 music education text books.

As a promoter, Scheme Boy started out co-founding London’s Adverse Camber collective, responsible for the infamous Awesome Power parties. 20 years later he is still organising events, featuring both legends from the scene and new upcoming talent, as part of his Varispeed Artist Management agency.
