Feast & florals for Jack’s 50th 🌻

He opted for platters & tablescaping, which included the rustic wooden crates, serving bowls, bread baskets, personalised menu cards, as well as vases of florals and foliage 🌿

I arrived an hour before to setup and add the finishing touches and…well I think I’m pretty chuffed with how it all came together 💫

Sheet cakes… a little concept I’ve been wanting to trial for months after discovering ’s incred designs 🧚🏻✨

So last weekend I gave it a go and restyled our classic lemon drizzle recipe into a double layered delight 🍋

Sandwiched and smothered in a generous layer of Swiss meringue buttercream, and topped with the prettiest edible flowers 🌸

I can’t quite compete with ’s intricate piping designs but I love the fluffy texture of the Swiss ☁️ ~ and for a first attempt (despite being tedious) it holds it’s shape a l o t better than our OG cream cheese frosting, and the finish is *chefs kiss* 😙👌🏼
