We’re rounding off 2023 by returning to Jersey at the ever-dope for a DJ night featuring our very own DJ Grinz alongside plus open decks.

It’s from 7-11pm on the 29th December and it’s FREE!!! So come on down for some Rum and Hip-Hop…our second favourite combination after Hip-Hop and coffee!!!

A couple of weeks ago we hosted the UK screening of the incredible documentary Underdogs, a film created by .diary who was kind enough to take the time to join us for a q&a, led by , in addition to briefly getting to join the audience on a call to ask him questions.

For nearly 6 years now we’ve been pushing to create inspiring, supportive and community led events. This was up there as one of the best yet.

We had a coffee shop style setup at with DJ Grinz and DJ Mutley offering both vinyl and CDJ sets. In addition we had free popcorn for everyone and the brilliant doing free demos.

A massive thanks to and for teaming up with us and making this possible. It was a special night. Thank you to for capturing it 📸

For the fact that .diary trusted us with his art, and more so that we can share the amazing story of and the in “Underdogs” who for us represent true, lyrical, forward thinking Hip-Hop. Let’s talk about last Thursday…..
We’ve been working for 5 years to create something special, intimate, supportive and representing the Hip-Hop scene that we love in an honest and passionate way, building a community.

Last Thursday was further proof that Hip Hop Coffee Shop has a place in people’s hearts and minds. We individually had people telling us that it was one of the best events they’ve ever been to. As a promoter, that has a BIG impact. We put so much time and energy into these events, and even though it’s a tough climate right now, we’re still doing it.

We appreciate each and every person who has attended our events over the last 5 years, and we hope that you’ve each discovered new artists, heard your favourite artists, met good people, eaten amazing pancakes or simply just enjoyed the vibes!

Ile doesn’t mess about. He currently has 47k monthly Spotify listeners and is racking up 100,000+ streams on his tracks with “… Peace of Mind” currently sitting on 3.5 million streams 🤯

What do you get when you add a DJ, Bgirl, lyricist and graffiti writer together… UNITY 🤩

has performed at events hosted by Bristol University, Cardiff’s Festival of Voice and as far afield as Hong Kong University 🌍

Influenced by Taskforce and Kae Tempest, she delivers poetic lyrics over laid back HipHop beats. Unity has supported artists including , , , and , and is a regular guest MC for Jazz Hiphop fusion band Dirty Alex.

And bro, if that wasn’t enough, Unity is a founding member of the Ladies of Rage network, RBF crew member, and has written a chapter for a global Hiphopography book by professors from the Universities of Hong Kong and the Western Cape (South Africa), due out 2023.

Did you know we’ve got our own coffee brand that we’re developing?!
Well if the answer was “eh!” Well NOW YOU DO! So far these have only been available exclusively at our events, but soon enough we’ll have them available online to order when you need that Hip Hop coffee fix!

So far we have our house blend “Mix N Blend” which offers sweet and smooth notes

And we have our first Artist Blend. This is something we’ll be expanding over the coming months and years. We work directly with artists to create their own coffee that reflects their music. Our first being man-like for his ridiculously cool multi-sensory event he ran for the launch of his new album Aspects. It’s a beautiful decaf that’s smooth and supppper drinkable no matter what time of day! (And thanks to for making cocktails out of it!)

We’re really proud of our coffees and hope if you’ve grabbed a bag you’re enjoying them. If you have, please give it a share, drop us a comment and spread the love!
