🌱 Exciting News for Catshill! Phase 2 of the Community Orchard Begins Today! 🌱
We are thrilled to invite you all to join us for the next stage of the Catshill Community Orchard project. This is more than just planting—it’s about creating something truly special for our community to enjoy for years to come.
📅 When: Today, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM
📍 Where: Milton Road Fields
This phase is all about enhancing the orchard’s beauty and biodiversity. We’ll be planting over 600 bulbs around the newly planted trees, bringing vibrant color and life to the area in the coming seasons.
No gardening experience? No problem! Whether you’re a seasoned green thumb or simply curious about lending a hand, everyone is welcome. It’s a fantastic way to meet neighbors, get some fresh air, and leave your mark on this meaningful community project.
Let’s come together to make this orchard a space that everyone in Catshill can be proud of. 🌳✨

Our Village Tree Shines Bright
Our beautiful Village tree is now shining brightly in the heart of our community, a beacon of light and love for everyone to enjoy.
If you would like to add a decoration, whether in remembrance of someone special or as a message of hope for the future, you are warmly invited to do so. Together, let’s fill our tree with heartfelt memories and wishes, making it a true reflection of the spirit of our Village.

Santa’s mischievous elves have scattered themselves around Catshill, and they’re hiding in windows, fences, and posts! Your mission? Find all 15 cheeky elves and uncover their names before they get too comfortable with their hiding spots.
🗓️ When: Hunt starts Dec 1st!
🎯 Where: All over Catshill!
🏆 Prize: Complete your sheet and return it to Catshill Village Hall Games Hub on Dec 5th or 19th for a reward.
Donation: £2 (because elves don’t work for free these days).
All proceeds go to Skye Anna’s epic Canadian canoe adventure with Scouts Hereford & Worcester.

Stars Dance Academy
Due to the cancellation of the Christmas light switch-on event caused by bad weather, Star Dance Academy was unable to perform as planned. Instead, they held their dance performance on Monday evening at the village hall for the parents.
🎄 Well, Storm Bert may have blown us away (literally), but he can't blow out our festive spirit! 🎅
A massive thank you to all our amazing acts, vendors, and stallholders who’ve been so understanding—don’t worry, you’re all booked in for our cracking Easter Event! 🐣 (Details coming in the new year—stay tuned!)
But, we still have unfinished business… the Christmas lights are still waiting for their big moment, and Valerie’s legendary raffle needs its winners!
So, Santa’s stepping in to save the day 🎅💡✨ Join us LIVE at 4:55pm on Catshill Community Events page or the Catshill group as he flips the switch and draws the raffle winners.

Our elves are glued to their magic weather radars, deciding whether the Christmas Light Switch-On goes as planned or if we all need to pack an emergency umbrella (or two). As of now, everything is ON—so no excuses!
🚧 Road closures: From 2:30 PM (don't get caught out!)
🎉 Festivities kick off: From 3 PM
📢 Businesses: Open as usual, because even Santa needs to shop local!

🍷 Betty's Waffles and Prosecco Bar (yes, we said Prosecco).
☕ Hub Kitchen (deliciously warm drinks because your hands deserve better).
🎅 Santa’s Arrival: Expect sleigh bells, reindeer vibes, and photo ops in his grotto!
🎠 Kids’ Fun: Teacups & saucers ride to spin the sugar rush away.

And for foodies, we’re bringing out the big guns: Betty’s Waffle Co (Prosecco bar included!), @Country Buns, @ Pizza Heaven, Bretts whippy , The Hub Kitchen, and more. The local Businesses are getting involved to, so there is definitely plenty to choose from, we also hear Sugar and Crumbs are opening late to serve you those special treats, they can be found on Woodroow lane
