OK guys, we have a date for the long awaited follow up to our first forge re-union at machen United services club,)

we would have done this in 2020 but something got in the way, but, we are where we are and, put this in your diaries as it's going to be great, Sat 15th October, lookng forward to seeing some old faces, will be a fantastic evening/night, will post details soon😊

OK guys,
MIC THE DRAGON OPEN MIC SESSIONS at machen legion this Friday 17th june,
Starts around 7,45 till late, hope you can make it, should be another belter of a night, great atmosphere.
We've had loads of different styles and genres of music played here over the last 6 years since we started hosting mic the dragon, folk, folk rock, blues, blues rock, reggae, ske, psychedelic, you name it, it's been played at some point, some great musicians come down and give us some great entertainment, so if your looking for a great evening of musical entertainment, your all welcome to come down, not a musician, no probs, just come down and have a great time, better still, bring your friends,
If your planning on performing, can you bring your own mic/instrument as covid is still with us,
Also, every other Saturday at this venue, there's live music in the hall or bar,

OK guys
Bit of an unusual one for this week,
As there are 2 bank Holidays this week,
Thurs/Fri, we have decided to tweak the week a bit, we know some of you would have other stuff going on this weekend so instead of doing the open mic on our regular Friday, we have decided to run our mic the dragon open mic sessions at machen legion this Wednesday 1st June instead,
Hope you can make it, as usual, should be another great night, looking forward to seeing our regulars as well as some new faces,
All standards are all welcome from beginners to more seasoned musicians and will be made welcome at our very popular venue,
All styles and genres of music welcomed,
Loads of parking and great bar staff, always a great atmosphere and great crowd of people great place to spend a Wednesday evening,
You don't need to be a musician to enjoy the evening with us, your all very welcome.

OK guys,
Looking forward to seeing you all again at mic the dragon open mic sessions at machen legion this Friday, 6th may, hope you can make it, we've had some great musicians come down to entertain us and they haven't disappointed,
From blues, blues rock, folk, pop, soul,reggae, ska, even psycadelic, it's all been played here at some point in our 5 years we've been at this brilliant music venue,
Not a musician, no probs, your all welcome to come down for some great entertainment and meet like minded people, bring your friends too
