Very pleased to be catering for the “Octoberfest” Rugby world cup Semi final this Sat thex21st at the Black Horse Melbourn serving our seriously big foot long homemade Bratwurst.

Hi to all my customers, family and friends, looking forward to seeing you tomorrow at the Black Horse in Melbourn for our renowned Tasty Hog Roast, footlong Bratwurst sausage served in a crusty baguette, Wagyu cheese burgers, kiddies chipolatas all homemade at our shop in Meldreth.
Sides:- Hot potatoes, coleslaw and mixed tossed salad bar.
We will also have a limited amount veggie burgers with Halloumi cheese.
Hog roast served from 3pm to 7.30 or until sold out.
Top local Chef Dougie Watters on the roast.
We will be taking card payment. Cash is still king!!
I have a limited amount of vouchers for free kiddies hot dogs, call in shop tomorrow 9am -1pm to pick up.
There will be Bouncing castle for the free range “kiddies”
music for the old “hippies, glam rockers, punk, soul and inbetweenies” and fantastic beers etc.

Hi to all my customers family and friends, Im pleased to announce that we are catering at the Black Horse Melbourn August bank holiday Sunday. We will be serving our Hog roast meals, Wagyu burgers, homemade Footlong Bratwurst sausage and not forgetting our Meldreth chipolata in a Roll for the Kids (vouchers available in our shop for free kiddies hot dog meal for all customers)

We have Geese from Chatteris large Norfolk Roosters and award winning Bronze Turkeys available. All until yesterday ( Monday 7th Nov) were free range but are now in deep filled straw barns to avoid avian bird flu which would result in mass culling and not available for the Xmas trade.
I would like to wish all our poultry producers in these uncertain times the very best and good luck.

Hog roasting or spit roasting lamb or beef, even having a BBQ at home myself and my team have 20-40 years experience each.
We have lost out to a whole years worth of work ( along with many other trades in the hospitality trade) But I’m going to take bookings for Saturdays and Sunday’s next year. With no cancellation fees if this thing is still around our necks!!!

This Saturday, Sunday and yes I’m open bank holiday Monday I have cote de boeuf or tomahawk steak at only £16.99 per kg NRRP is £24.9@ kg it is dry hung for a min 28 days and the beef comes from the Isle of Man it is absolutely delicious big steak for 2 Approx price is £12.99 to £17.99 for these “Bad boys”
Also got some 20-24 oz pork chops on offer.
Loads of kebabs and BBQ selection. If hot get in quickly as I’m short staffed and it will go quick if the sun is out.
A few minted kofta kebabs only when purchasing other meats
Forgot 24 oz T Bone steaks for sale we have all the big bad boys for sale this weekend
