A small flat backed posy tied with twine for a natural burial. A completely compostible arrangement with no hidden wires, foam or ribbon.

This was ordered by a lovely lady who lives locally but had not heard of me until I was recommended by another flower grower who was a bit too far away for her. Us flower farmers have a great network and will always help each other (and customers) out.

We don't believe in competition - just cooperation, collaboration and friendship. Flower farmers are really lovely people and just want everyone to buy, grow and celebrate British flowers.

Let me introduce you to Ethel - she is the most beautiful rambling rose which absolutely covers my friend's elder bush. It is the most beautiful pale pink and also smells amazing.
I've put her in my Sylvac vase which has its own wire insert to hold the stems so I didn't have to use chicken wire in this one.
She won't last long especially in this heat but I did sear her stems in the hope to last a little bit longer. I'm just going to enjoy her.

Wedding bouquets and table flowers waiting for the candles and other decorations. I actually remembered to take a picture!!
It was a precision operation when I arrived with all the bridesmaids and groomsmen busy doing the jobs they had been allocated to ensure that the wedding venue looked absolutely beautiful.
I just placed the flowers on the wood slices in the middle of the tables and left the bud vases on another table. It was a great buzzing atmosphere and I'm sure they all had a wonderful day.

I've been a bit quiet because I went away last weekend with some lovely friends to Brancaster and now I'm catching up as I've got a wedding on Sunday.
The flowers pictured are now on sale in Fulbourn Fruit and Veg Shop.
The picture of me is in Socius in Burnham Market enjoying a fabulous meal last Friday - where do the days go??!!

So I'll be busy preparing for the wedding which I'm really excited about and I'll let you see pictures next week

Lovely bouquet of flowers all grown by me. They were collected and I had a lovely message saying that her friend was so emotional when she saw the flowers which were absolutely stunning.

How lovely is that?

I love that flowers say so much without words.

I'm now off for a weekend break but back on Monday and wedding season starts to kick in with my first on Sunday. So busy, busy.

Have a fun weekend

Natural. Elegant. Affordable.

I am Jackie and have loved flowers, gardening and everything crafty ever since I can remember. As a child I would make up posies of flowers from the garden and sell to passers by. In 2020 I decided to follow my dreams and use the therapy of flowers to create natural and wild designs for others to enjoy.

Living for most of my life in a small Cambridgeshire village with a delightful mill and blossom on the trees it gave me the inspiration for the name. Walking in the woods and hedgerows with Herbie, my beloved Border Terrier gives me loads of ideas for different concepts and designs.

I buy my flowers from local flower farmers wherever possible as I am really passionate about supporting small businesses and helping the local community.

I hope you will join me on my journey and let me create a floral delight just for you.
