Well - as they say - that's a wrap!! The last of 12 Christmas Wreath Workshops this year at Bottisham Primary School PTA.
A total of 172 beautiful wreaths have been created by the most fantastic people.
I've been to village halls (one double booked and we nearly had to join in an exercise class!!!), schools and various businesses for their staff. I've loved every minute.
I've met lots of new people, seen lots of regular wreathers and had lots of laughs.
Now a few more wreaths, arrangements and bouquets to make for orders and then feet up for Christmas!!
I still have room for a few more if you want some Christmas flowers. Just DM me or email [email protected]

Lovely evening last night at Bottisham WI. I made four arrangements while babbling on about what I get up to in my flower business. It was lots of fun and we decided the last one should be called Anglesey Abbey because of the white birch twigs at the back!!!

The ladies went away with lots of ideas for foam free arrangements made from a few flowers and foliage from your gardens

Always happy to give talks to groups. I leave the arrangements to be raffled off at the end.

Let's get ready for Christmas πŸŽ„πŸŽ
I'll be at Oakington Garden Centre on Saturday with Christmas Wreath Kits for you to make your very own wreaths ready for Christmas.
There is the basic kit to buy which contains the ring, wire, moss, decorations, ribbon and full instructions. You will need to find your own foliage.
The Wreath Bar will be open with lots of extra decorations and adornments for you to buy to add to your wreath.

I'll be giving demos throughout the day

If you can't get to Oakington and would like a kit just drop me a DM or email [email protected]

First 500 tulip bulbs, a big hole and all set!!
Then the next 500 also planted. I now ache as I still can't kneel down so had to bend over the hole and place all of these bulbs the right way up!!!
Still got another 500 to plant and also 1,000 irises. They will have to wait for another day but can't be too long because I will soon be busy, busy with Christmas Wreaths.
Tulips planted are Groenland, van Eijk, Purissima and Design Impression.
So now looking forward to spring and seeing them bloom as long as no pesky mice get them!!!

Lovely to see the sunshine today. Now coffee and biscuits. I think well deserved.

Bright bunches of chrysanthemums this week at Darwin Nurseries Farm Shop to brighten up this gloomy November weekend.

I'm currently busy mossing up rings for some Christmas Wreaths to take to Oakington Garden Centre next weekend.
It's a bit chilly. ❄️

Well what a good day? Not only is it my birthday but I've had presents of lots of foliage, hydrangea heads and cones!! I'm so excited because Christmas Wreaths are just round the corner and every bit of evergreen foliage helps.

It's that time of year to cut back a few bits in the garden. If you are doing this and have any fir, pine, conifer, spruce, eucalyptus or anything evergreen I will happily come and collect. The more interesting the better but happy with any. Better than trying to chop up for the green bins!!

Also looking for any pine cones.

Just DM me or email [email protected] and I'll come and collect locally.

First proper dog walk for me after breaking my leg at the end of July. I was a bit nervous but Scout behaved and we didn't meet anyone else thank goodness.
So it's onwards and upwards now. Legs ache a bit and my knee knows I've been for a longer walk but all good.

Have a good day

I think I hit the brief for a cottage/wildflower bouquet. It gets harder at this time of the year but with great suppliers most flower dreams are possible!!
Thank you for fulfilling my rather late request for your beautiful British grown flowers.

What a spooktactular afternoon!! A wonderful way to spend a gloomy Saturday afternoon creating these beautiful floral pumpkins.
Well done everyone. Once again I'm amazed how they are all so different even though everyone starts with the same selection of flowers.

So looking forward to Christmas workshops.

I was so pleased to receive this beautiful picture of Harriet's wedding bouquet. She was the perfect bride who just asked for bright and beautiful and then left me to it.

I've already got bookings for next year so if you are getting married then please feel free to get in touch for a chat.
Please share my post to anyone you know who is getting married as well.
I love talking to the brides and creating their weddings flowers from their ideas.

Some pictures of the beautiful restaurant we found in Rethymno in Crete last week. It was stunning and reminded me of the Mama Mia party. The food was fantastic and I'm now into Greek yoghurt and goats butter - big time!
It was a lovely holiday. I'm now fully recharged and ready for a very busy workshop season. Looking forward to it.

Natural. Elegant. Affordable.

I am Jackie and have loved flowers, gardening and everything crafty ever since I can remember. As a child I would make up posies of flowers from the garden and sell to passers by. In 2020 I decided to follow my dreams and use the therapy of flowers to create natural and wild designs for others to enjoy.

Living for most of my life in a small Cambridgeshire village with a delightful mill and blossom on the trees it gave me the inspiration for the name. Walking in the woods and hedgerows with Herbie, my beloved Border Terrier gives me loads of ideas for different concepts and designs.

I buy my flowers from local flower farmers wherever possible as I am really passionate about supporting small businesses and helping the local community.

I hope you will join me on my journey and let me create a floral delight just for you.
