Smorgasbord sharing starter 😍

As wedding season draws to a close, tasting season starts! This delicious platter doesn’t get chosen as often as it should so we were so pleased when Harry and Faye chose to have it for their tasting!

Home smoked salmon, taramasalata, pork croquettes, soda bread, celeriac remoulade, sweet mustard mayo and assorted pickles make it the perfect ‘picky bits’ starter, with something for everyone!

Rushing about at Ruffnyes 🤣

A little shout out to the beautiful - a new family run venue opening their doors to couples looking for a rustic but elegant barn wedding with a beautiful lawn and plenty of space for entertaining! A nearby church provides options for your ceremony too! Working exclusively with us as caterers, they have reserved dates with us for next year so it’s a rare opportunity to guarantee our availability for a certain date, so if you have been following us for a while and are looking for your venue, this could be it!

The boys are here! It’s always been a dream of mine to get some pigs, and it’s finally happened! (Thanks to and the team for being on board) These two lookers are pedigree Tamworth’s born in Bishopsbourne and now residents at Fern and Farrow HQ. They’ve already mastered getting past my electric fencing and given me a good run around the field so I’m sure they will keep us all on our trotters. I think it’s incredible important to understand where our meat comes from and how it’s looked after, and this is our next stage in learning, although probably a difficult one for us all, these boys will live an incredibly happy, well looked after life, grazing our field 100% outside. Stay tuned for pig content 🐷🐖🐽
