Modular II return with another 4 mind-bending journeys into sounds. The Macready tapes hits the listener with ominous stabs and clean-cut beats as it gradually evolves into a monster of bass and drums. The title track The Golden Ratio starts with epic pads and builds into an explosion of techno vibes and rolling breaks before The Shining guides the listener through an ever moving journey of ethereal elements all bound together by their unique break work. The EP ends on Modology, a high-energy trip through trance inducing techno influences and frenetic amen loops, a perfect end to another snapshot of this duo's unique and otherworldly palate of sound.
