VCW Pro Wrestling kicks off 2025 with a bang, and one of the most anticipated matches of the night pits two dynamic competitors against each other for the very first time!

💥 THE SHOCKING CONCLUSION TO LIVE IN TRECENYDD! 💥

What was supposed to be a hard-fought Main Event between two respected competitors for the VCW Undisputed Championship turned into one of the most jaw-dropping moments of the year!

In a move that left the entire VCW faithful stunned, The Brilliance James Ellis and the self-proclaimed "New Commissioner of VCW" Aaron Blanchard changed the game. Blanchard inserted himself into the main event at the last minute, turning a battle of respect between Kenny Mantra and Big D into a betrayal for the ages.

By the end of the night, Blanchard walked out as the new VCW Undisputed Champion, leaving Mantra betrayed and distraught, and Big D without the gold.

🚨 LIVE IN TRECENYDD RESULTS! 🚨

Thank you to everyone who packed out Trecenydd Community Centre this past Sunday! Here’s everything that went down on an unforgettable afternoon:

🎤 Sammy Gallagher’s Open Challenge:
Sammy interrupted the start of the show, claiming Leon Cage was too afraid to face him. He issued an open challenge to anyone past or present, and it was answered by Leon Brando! After a heated contest, Leon Brando picked up the win.

💥 Six-Man Tag Team Match:
Soul Train & Big Rig vs. Adam Carter, JJ Roberts & Alex Vane

What started as a strong team effort quickly fell apart when Alex Vane declared himself the “team captain.” Dissension followed, and Carter & Roberts walked out, leaving Vane alone. This allowed Soul Train to capitalize and take the victory.

🏆 Iron Cobra Confrontation:
2024 Iron Cobra winner Ethan Thomas took a moment to thank the fans for their support in his three-year journey to claim the title. But the celebration was short-lived as the Original Iron Cobra winner, Shane Hook, made a shocking return to VCW! He challenged Ethan to a match right then and there to determine the true Iron Cobra. The intense showdown ended in a double count-out, leaving the question unanswered...

🎅 Post-Interval Mayhem:
The festive spirit filled the room as Santa and his elf, Mitch Barker, handed out sweets to the kids. However, new No Mer... Brilliance Pro Wrestling owner James Ellis interrupted, declaring himself the boss of VCW also by proxy after taking over No Mercy. He berated Santa for "wasting his money" and dramatically fired him!
This led to Mitch Barker challenging Ellis to a match, which Barker shockingly won in under two minutes! But Ellis’ associate (& self proclaimed Commissioner after supposedly firing CueBall) Aaron Blanchard arrived, declaring the match to be “Brilliance Country Rules” and that Barker's win was null & void. The re-started match saw Ellis & Blanchard use every underhanded tactic imaginable to steal the victory.

👑 Main Event Chaos:
Originally a Triple Threat for the VCW Undisputed Title, the match shifted to a singles bout after Viktor Lindon was unable to appear. Champion Big D faced No Mercy Legacy Champion Kenny Mantra in a hard-fought match based on mutual respect. But chaos erupted when Ellis slyly inserted Aaron Blanchard into the match, transforming it back into a Triple Threat. In a shocking twist, Blanchard seized the moment and the victory, by hitting Big D with the ring bell & low blowing Mantra, becoming the new VCW Undisputed Champion! 😱
