MORE NEWS 😅🤯🙌🏽🥂

More exciting news from us, we might be mad but here we go...

As many of you many know, we started fire cooking as at the age of 25 we simply didn't have the finance to secure the bricks and mortar that comes with a restaurant. So we did what we could with the bare minimum and have grafted Smoke & Steel into what it is today. 

We've had a bit of a full circle moment recently and are SO happy (and scared) to say that in the coming months we will be purchasing and taking over Salsa in Penrith as our own. This is a huge deal for us and we are beyond grateful to those helping us make this happen, and every single one of you that have booked us, shared our stories, liked our posts.

Smoke & Steel will very much stay as it is and continue doing what it does best, and we will now have Salsa doing it's thing too as has done for many years with a bit of Smoke & Steel spice sprinkled on the top 🥂

We will be advertising vacancies for a variety of roles in the coming weeks so keep an eye if you're looking for a new challenge and holla at us!

We have decided to do our first ever valentine's wood fired takeaway pop up!! The menu is designed for you to takeaway and enjoy at home, or whatever other romantic location you wish 👀

This is PRE ORDER ONLY, for collection on valentine's day between 5 and 9 from Unit 4, James Str**t Workshops, Carlisle, CA2 5AH

Pre-order opens tomorrow, time slots will be limited so book quickly to avoid disappointment.

Our cute first born pizza boi Reggie is still for sale and looking for his new home,

All branding has been removed so it's good to go and get trading straight away ready for the 2025 season.

Recent respray and well looked after (kept in doors)


Wood Fired pizza oven has been fitted and can come with the sale, it has been removed whilst deep cleaning and very easy for me to fit back in, or leave blank ready for any other equipment want to put in there,

Coffee van? Pizza van? Taco van? The choice is yours.

Happy new year to all our couples and supplier friends past, present and future! Not forgetting our fabulous team, their support this year has been more invaluable than it ever has been and we are beyond grateful for them sticking by our side. We are as always forever grateful for the support we have had and continue to have in sustaining our business ✨

We've been quiet here, "soaking up the newborn Christmas time", or as a realist would say, fighting for our lives to survive pure festive chaos.

Congratulations to any newly engaged couples out there!! We are ready for any of you that like the look of some smokey wedding breakfast delights... January and February are our busiest times for enquiries and bookings and some 2026 months are already fully booked for weekend dates, we expect peak months to be full by the end of February so please do get organised to avoid disappointment. We say it every year and we really do mean it when we say it's important to get booked early.

Well well well,

Better late than never, but Sprog2 kind of got in the way 😭🤷

Some of you may remember a while back me ranting on about our beef crack and it's r**t good and we're gonna start selling it along with some of our other sexy mixes.

Well me and Sam from have been busy in our unit sorting out all the stuff we need to bring these to you! These are mixes we have both been using in our collective businesses and have worked on a fair deal over the past couple years and even more so the past few months.

We have started with our 6 fave mixes to start off with and have loads more lined up ready to be blended and stocked along with some other cool stuff as we move forward 🔥.

Giz a follow over at and get yourself some last minute stocking fillers ( word on the str**t is these first batches will be worth 500x in 10 years time when we are world famous spice Boyz, so make sure you buy 2 of each 😎😂! Don't @ me)

New member of staff for 2039 alert! 👶 🌷🌸🩷

With another little girl welcomed into the world we're taking a little time out to deal with the amount of clothes washing that is about to happen 😬🤷.

I'm planning to take a little time off everything work related including emails until December 2nd, although I have 0 chill and hate seeing a full inbox so will probably still do it, please help me out and just don't email 🤣 thanks.

Anyone that has or does, if you haven't had a reply by the 3rd of December please just drop us another message as I have probably missed the email 🩷

Baby is doing just fine and Eloise absolutely smashed it again 💃 Big Sis is absolutely besotted and won't take her eyes off of her little sister- Dad will constantly remind anyone that he had to endure a few days sitting on an uncomfortable chair.

Again incredibly humbled by the amount of you getting in contact and booking us 💞🩷. We have had a massive flurry of enquires recently for 2025 so we thought we best do an update

Our next available date for booking our live fire menus is the week commencing 13th October 2025!l, between now and then we have 0 space for any events, big or small.
As a small, close-knit team who will be at every single one of your events ourselves, we’re so grateful for your all even considering booking with us,

We take pride in limiting our bookings and not overwhelming our team to ensure we can provide the quality you all deserve, that said we already have over 60 bookings for next year already but it’s not just about filling the calendar for us; it’s about giving each of you who have booked the care and attention your booking deserves and not jist thinking about the next one or any other upcoming ones.
