Another bubbletastic birthday today with my newly repaired and rewrapped cube. Lots of very excited little ones in Monikie, it’s always such a joy. 😊🫧🫧

After seven years of hard work my poor bubble cube prop has burst a couple of its welds. Today I unwrapped it (a challenge in itself) and discovered the yarn is now beautifully permed. 😂 shame is smells of bubble mix. It’s going away tomorrow for a little TLC from the wonderful guy who welded it together for me in the first place. I still remember the confused look I got when I first explained what I needed. Hopefully it will be back to like new in no time. Now I have to go find some new funky yarn to wrap it with. I hope your Sunday is as wonderfully random as mine. 😊🫧🫧

I know Burns day is past but I was too busy doing the time warp to be on social media. 😂 Meanwhile some affy braw folk I ken have done an affy braw version of my very favourite poem. Enjoy 😊 🐎🍻👹

🚨🚨🚨 NEW: A local filmmaker has reinterpreted the iconic Robert Burns poem Tam O’ Shanter in a new short film which is set on the streets of Dundee.

Dylan Drummond used his own imagination to reinterpret the poem in an 11-minute short film follows a couple stroll around some of Dundee's most iconic landmarks, including V&A Dundee, the McManus, and atmospheric Howff burial ground.

I’ve been out twice this week already and I’ve got my first birthday party of the year tomorrow. It’s already shaping up to be another bubbletastic year with enquiries coming in from all over the place.

My website is also under construction and I’m so excited to share it with you all when it’s finished.

It’s been a busy first week back to work, all admin and no fun. 😊 thankfully hitting the road with some bubbles next week though. January is filling up and February too so if you’re looking for a party, school visit or event then get in touch to check my availability. 🫧🫧

I hope this first week back hasn’t been too painful, I’m still working on my tax return 😩

Happy New Year Everyone. I hope you all had a fantastic start to the new year. I’m hitting the ground running by appearing in tomorrow’s Courier but it’s not bubble related, it’s one of my other passions, yoga!

I know the new year can often be the jumping off point for trying new things so if you’ve always fancied yoga but don’t know where to start then I can highly recommend Yoga-on-Tay and their amazing Iyengar yoga teachers.

And for those of you forever asking me how I can lift giant bubble poles for three hours straight, here’s your answer. 😊🫧🫧🧘🏻

I had to pop into town today (against my better judgement) to pick up some bits for Christmas. 🎄Luckily I bumped into one of my favourite smalls which made my day so much better. 🥰 think I brightened her day too.

Before the festivities really take off I just wanted to say a huge thank you to everyone who has booked Poppy Bubbles this year, whether for a party, event, school session, show or gala. I’ve met so many lovely people this year and have spread millions of bubbles and buckets of joy all across Scotland. I’m very lucky to be able to do this amazing job and even luckier to have a family who don’t mind being roped in to my soapy shenanigans
I hope you all have a wonderful Christmas and a Happy New Year when it comes and I hope to see you all next year for more bubbletastic fun. 😊🫧🫧

And that’s a wrap! My last gig of the year today at Cairdview Nursery for lots of very over excited little ones. It was a big audience but they sat well and listened brilliantly despite the fact you could scrape most of them off the ceiling. 😂 I reckon all teachers, everywhere deserve some bubbles in a glass this week. 😊🫧🫧
