After a fun laden Quiz Night last evening, thanks to Brian Gidley and the Conservative Club, activities are in full swing for our Season Opening on Saturday March 30th at 10:00. The team have worked hard to create and update several of our exhibits. These include Chard at War in preparation for the 80th Anniversary of D-Day, new Carnival costumes, and new photograph displays. There is a fun Bunnie hunt for younger visitors. You can also collect your complementary copy of Streets of Chard. This booklet shares how many of the streets and roads in Chard were named. There will also be cake to celebrate our opening.

A big thankyou to the Ilminster Ukelele group for putting on a fantastic concert for us last night!

Playing classics from The Beatles, the Kinks, Oasis and Supergrass, as well as a couple of foot stomping sea shanties! 🎵

From the money raised from ticket sales, we also donated £50 to Sweet Surprise where they practice.

What a great evening
