I’ve had a lot of texts/emails over the past few months starting with “It’s with great sadness that ….” and now it’s my turn.

I’ve had the BEST time creating and setting up parties for so many lovely children and their families over the past few years. But I’ve come to realise that as much as I want to, I can’t do it all.

TeepeeTakeover time is weekend or holiday time. That equates to family time. And I’ve been swapping family time for work time. My oldest is about to start senior school and my weekends with her are slipping away. My youngest is still in infants and she deserves the weekend time that my eldest had. Oh and the time for the huge amount of taxi-ing that we do for the girls! I also have an actual really busy weekday daytime job in IT which I love .

This started off as a channel for my creative side and I LOVED the effort in researching theme ideas, sourcing accessories and then bringing it all together to make it happen. I thought I could do all of this and still carry on all the day to day stuff I was already doing. Whilst I know I CAN (as I have been doing!) I just need a bit more space. Not a pity post just a bit of prioritising! If I was able to do it full time I think there might be a different story but that’s in another life :-)

All existing bookings have been notified and honoured but in the mean time I will be selling off lots of the accessories and equipment (once my daughters have ransacked the boxes for their rooms!) so keep your eyes peeled if there was a particular item you loved.

There are many other lovely local companies offering a similar service so your children can still get a party elsewhere!

Thank you so so so so much to all my wonderful customers - I have absolutely LOVED seeing the smiles on your children’s faces and the lovely thank yous and reviews and messages.

Little brother didn’t want to “Silver & Sparkle” with his sister and her friends tonight so “Comfy Camo” has had a revamp and gone out so he doesn’t miss out on the fun! We think it’s a wise move little man. 😜🙉🙉🙉

So as we’re still closed and the weather is cheering up ☀️ what about this for a great idea at home 😉

Hope that everyone has been keeping healthy and well and finding someone to talk to for all the different challenges families are facing today.

I’ve been starting to think about how to make a safe return to parties when government guidance gives the all clear. Obviously it goes without saying that any parties that had been cancelled will have priority and I’ve been in contact with those already. But whether it be for siblings only to begin with or for others when the time is right, I’ll be able to reassure you how every care has been taken to ensure the safety and hygiene of all the teepees.

I miss all the happy little faces that I’ve seen with the teepees and cannot wait to get back out to you all soon xx
