Could everyone please please share this as we are very proud to be running this again this year for children in care, we have had an amazing success the last 4 years running Xx

We are doing the giving tree again this year. For those of you who don’t know how it works, this is what we do.

We have contacted childrens homes (and still have four or five to contact this week) and asked the staff to ask the children if there is a gift they would like to receive for Christmas this year up to the value of £15. These children will probably not receive any Christmas presents at all. We have given each home numbers to identify each child. When a child names the gift he or she would like, it goes on the back of a star with that child’s identity number on the front. We put the stars on our hand print tree which is on the wall in The Craft Cabin.

- This is where you come in

Our customers come in and pick a star from the tree, from the 20th November buy the gift that is written on the back, wrap it and label it with whatever number was on the star. Bring it back to The Craft Cabin on or before 18th December so we can get them out to the children’s homes before Christmas Day. Going from past experience over the last three years, we know there are some very generous people amongst you. It will mean so much to these children to receive a present on Christmas Day, when they will have nothing else and no families to be around at this important time of the year. You can call in, or message us to pick a number from the tree. Let’s hope this is as successful as it has been the past four years.

Hi everyone got a couple of weekends left if anyone needs a buffet for any occasion please get in touch if your looking for a reasonably priced buffet with homemade pies & quiches included.
We provide the paper plates & serviettes in white all included in the price per head. We are also taking bookings for 2024! A £30 non refundable deposit is payable on booking to secure your date with the final balance due a week before your event date.
