Another lovely day with lovely people yesterday at The Yarnery with Hooking Good hosting the latest Botties™ Slipper Making workshop.

It was fabulous to meet so many new people and see what yarns you all picked for your Botties!

This was the last slipper making workshop for 2025 but I have just confirmed two new dates for 2026:

January 10th and February 21st

If you weren’t able to get a space on the previous workshops, this is your chance! Vouchers for this workshop are also available and would make a lovely festive gift.

Customer Glynis in her incredible crochet hexi using Cygnet Yarns Ltd Boho Spirit in Folk.

Glynis came in today to stock up for her next project but I wouldn’t let her leave until I’d taken a picture of this! I LOVE the collar which she made up as she went along and the way she’s worked the extension. Well done Glynis and thank you so much for wearing it to show me!

I’ve had the mother of all deliveries this week at The Yarnery with chunky, dk and aran balls of absolute delight from lots of lovely places!

The most colourful box of yarn in the shop award goes to Sirdar who delivered the brand new Soft Down DK and ALL of the new shades of Stories Chunky along with all current patterns.

Special thank you to Simon (hope you can see this) for sending this beautiful sample (put it on straight away, obvs!) to display in the shop (definitely not just for me to wear…) The jumper is DEVINE and I can’t wait to make a new wardrobe full of fabulous wearables.
