❗️FAQ❗️

‘Why won’t you paint under 3s’

Apologies this is a long one. But it explains it very well.
The reasoning behind to NOT paint anyone under 36m is that their skin is likely to be more sensitive than older children and they are still building up their immune system. It is widely recommended by health care professionals and dermatologists to avoid applying products to children’s skin under 36m, unless they have been specifically tested for use on babies and toddlers 0-36m.
There is evidence that shows if products are used on children under 36m that are not recommended for them, even if the child doesn't have a reaction at that time, their immune system may remember that product and become sensitised to it. This means, that if the same product is applied again, their immune system may suddenly decide it's under attack and have an adverse reaction, 'Adverse Contact Dermatitis'.
In answer to the 'they've been painted before', having read the above I hope you understand that they are more than likely to have a reaction 2nd or 3rd time. So unfortunately, it will be a no from me. Please respect the above as face painters only have your child's best interest at heart 💕
