Christmas came early last week when we took delivery of twelve parcels full of food, essential items and Christmas goodies to be delivered to some of our families.
The parcels were brought to school by Alice Fallon of Sovereign Wealth who, along with Jess Hodgson of JJ Flowers, has been raising funds and gathering donations from local businesses in order to help out families in Chesterfield this Christmas.
We are absolutely blown away by the by the work they’ve done, their kindness and the generosity of people in our local community. Incredible! Thanks to you guys getting in touch with requests and nominations, we were able to allocate the parcels and get them delivered (thank you Mrs Houghton and Ms Crawford).
At such a rotten time, it is heart-warming to know that there are people like Alice, Jess and all the other folk who have been involved with their project. On behalf of the families of Holme Hall, we thank them from the bottom of our hearts!🥰
