Here's the second and final batch of this week's community heroes who've chosen to support their local children's hospice in whatever way they can β¨
π Elf Florrie had a very busy Christmas selling our infamous flumps and festive flip 'ems to school friends, fellow Brownies and her mum's work colleagues.
π Manager of The War Horse, Chorley, James Crook, brought with him tonnes of toys, board games and teddies that customers and staff had donated.
π Derian parent, Michelle France, sadly passed away unexpectedly towards the end of 2022, and spent most of her life raising vital funds for Derian House. Her son, Thomas, was one of the first children to visit the hospice almost 30 years ago, and over Β£425 has been raised for us in Michelle's memory since her passing β‘οΈ https://michellefrance.muchloved.com/.
π Shine For Sally raised Β£900 from dance events, and sponsored a Tree of Love in our hospice gardens during the month of December, bringing their fundraising total to Β£1,000.
π Live health and fitness - Chorley dropped off a car boot-full of toys, games, pyjamas and winter clothing for our children and young people, money of which was raised from the raffle of a spin bike on the gym's page.
