First time gigging out in nearly six years. First proper Buffers - the Reunion night in over eight years. I’ve had some of the best nights of my life with these two gents and tonight we go again. I’d sum up the feelings as nervously excited.

So we can finally announce it, for the first time in over 8 years (and my first gig in nearly 6 years 😬), we're bringing back Buffers - the Reunion for one night only. I'm beyond excited for us all to get down to Ulverston's newest venue Ignition Cocktail Bar on Saturday 27th May 2023 and back behind the decks playing the biggest dance anthems.
To manage numbers the venue are making it a ticketed event, with entrance via a wristband priced at £5 and available from the venue from Tuesday 9th May. I'm hoping we can still pull a crowd, so I'd get your wristbands ASAP.
I'm really looking forward to seeing some old faces and spinning some old tunes. On that note, what does anyone want to hear? ❤️

I DJd on and off for 17 years, it’s mad to think it’ll be 6 years on carnival night since I last played out at a proper gig. This was probably the best night in all that time, the second Buffers - the Reunion we did. I think it’s one of the best sets I’ve ever played too (Link to my set in the comments, Facebook doesn’t like links in statuses 😡).

It’d be nice to think maybe one day we’ll all dust our tunes off and get me, Matty and Myles back in the same DJ booth at the same time. Some of the best nights of my life with those gents 👀

Morning all. It’s the last Madison’s Workington livestream event today. Catch me live from the garden shed 2-3. I’m going back to my roots on this one, from getting into the scene listening to Zone tapes and Rock FM live from the Palace on a Friday night in 1996, through to the tunes I used to play in the early days at Buffers. Hopefully I’ll stir a few memories and I think there’ll be a tune or two you’ve not heard in a while

Sunday morning piano tunes from Davos (Dave Clough) to take you back in time for a reminisce. I’ve shared this before and I’ll share it again at some point because,

2. A number of my friends work in music in one form or another and they haven’t gigged in nearly 12 months. We need to keep their work out there ❤️

I appreciate how fortunate I am to have worked all the way through the pandemic and I’m looking forward to supporting them properly once they can get out gigging again.
