Today we presented our lovely Volunteer Jenny with a bouquet of flowers as a Thank You.

Jenny has been watching the new book scene, listening to our Library Members and fellow Volunteers to choose and buy new books each month for our Adult readers.

This is a very important role and includes adding the books to our Gloucestershire Libraries computer catalogue and preparing them for the shelves. She also posts the details of each book on our website www.lechladelibrary.co.uk which all takes lots of her time.

I helped out at a beautiful wedding at the weekend which was made extra special by using my own flowers in the table bowl arrangements. Snapdragons, achilliea, sweetpea tendrils, larkspur & rats tail statice.

Earlier in the week I had the privilege of creating farewell flowers for my good friends Mum, Myrtle. The request, an English garden. The roses & some foliage were from my own garden & everything else was grown on my cut flower patch. 100% English grown, cut & made by me
