CLEVEDON FLOWER SHOW THIS WEEKEND!

This fantastic show planned for Clevedon at the annual Show is on August 24th & 25th at Salthouse Fields. The small team of volunteers has been working diligently behind the scenes over the past few months to prepare everything.
It is time to get a show schedule (available at many local outlets or on the website) and start preparing and planning entries!

With over 400 classes, there is sure to be something for everyone, from the tiny ones to the senior citizens and from the novice to the experts. Look out for new classes, including honey, giant vegetables, and the new Scarecrow competition, which should be attractive for family entries, plus new opportunities within many classes. The show tent promises to be full of a great display of flowers, plants, vegetables, and crafts from entrants, so be sure to get schedules to see what’s available.

Now to the amazing line-up of entertainment. The great acts booked for the two-day show include:

- The Bristol Pipes and Drums - to open the show
- The Mini Pony Show - they will appear with trainer Rosie three times each day of the show. Times to follow
- John Prescott - well-known local singer
- Daz - local singer recently awarded the BEM for services to charity
- Annuska - great local female singer
- The Port of Bristol Shanty Boys
- The Travelling Oakies
- Station2Station

Plus more! The trade stands in the marquee are full, and outside spaces are almost full too. Add to that the classic cars, Sunday dog show, and Star Wars characters, and it will surely be a great weekend. There will also be the well-known refreshments tent, cream teas, bars, and BBQ. So, mark the dates in your diaries now and come along to support the 126th Show.

I get asked a lot “How often should I get a facial?”

Historically I used to always say, every 4-6 weeks. In my experience now, that makes people panic about the commitment and the cost!

Really the true answer is…whatever works best for you. Something is better than nothing!

Clients have facials for so many different reasons, ranging from making serious changes to their skin, through to just having some ‘couch time’

To give you a rough idea here are some of my recommendations:

💆🏻‍♀️ Clinicare facial ~ 4-6 weeks
💆🏻‍♀️ Dermaplaning ~ 6-8 weeks
💆🏻‍♀️ Micro-needling ~ 4-6 weeks
💆🏻‍♀️ Farmgirl facial ~ whenever your skin needs a glow up and you need to truly relax!!

I’ve know the lovely Rachel for a while now. We’ve been in a journey to get her skin in great condition via a combination of regular Dermaplaning and a good home care routine.

Now…I’ve got my hands on her brows!

Going from a very straight, faint shape (from previous work, not mine) To a fluffy, modern hairstroke brow, that we both loved! 😍

I was so happy the sun finally came out! Those rays are so important for us to feel good…☀️☀️

Please take a minute to read through this little appointment update:

✔️I am now fully booked for brows in April

✔️I am fully booked for brows in May.

✔️I do have two slots available for Dermaplaning one on Weds 24th April or Tues 14th May @12:30pm

✔️Unfortunately as of next month I will no longer be offering PMU brows or the Farmgirl Facial in Portishead. (There is to much equipment needed to do these treatments, to keep bringing back and forth)

✔️I will still be doing one Wednesday a month in Portishead for Dermaplaning & Micro needling.

✔️Most of my time is now based , where I have a lovely room in the basement. The florists are lovely and are happy to say hello to you when your arrive and let me know you’re here. But unfortunately I can’t always accommodate you if you’re super early! So please come just 5mins or on time for your appointment.

✔️ Finally…exciting news I’ll be adding Massage treatments to my treatment list in June, as requested by a lot of you! Only available
