Here is our bug hunt kit being used at a playgroup. The children loved searching through the brown rice "soil" for the colourful bugs, exploring the textures, listening to the sound of rain made with pouring rice, naming the colours of flowers and practicing fine motor skills with the tweezers and scoops.

At Peefa we love to find new ways to use our kits! We added a dinosaur to our Space Sensory Kit and read the brilliantly funny "The Dinosaur that pooped a planet" by Dougie Poynter and Tom Fletcher.
⭐ Little M made Dino stomp prints in the moon dough.
🚀 Fed the Dino moons, stars and rockets.
🧑‍🚀 Made moon dough planets and had the Dinosaur eat them.

It's almost Christmas and I've been banned from putting the tree up yet! So I got the nativity scene that I've just bought put it together with our Peefa- Farmyard sensory kit and told the Christmas story as she played instead.

M fed the animals with the oats, hid them in the raffia straw, made prints into the cloud dough, listened to the story and then told me who the figures were, she has used so many skills without even knowing it, and I got to feel more Christmassy!

I decided to sort the garden for winter and clear out the sand table.
What else do you do when you see some beautiful yellow leaves 🍂? Obviously bring the table inside and put some rice and pompoms from our colour Sensory kits in and let M play. She went back and forth playing for hours! 🍁
