Angel collapsed when she was two weeks old and subsequently diagnosed with a severe congenital heart condition. She was then blue lighted to Royal Brompton Hospital for life saving surgery. We are delighted to share this picture of beautiful Angel as she turns 10 today!! Double digits for a beautiful girl. What a milestone. Happy birthday Angel ❤️💙

HO HO HO!!!

Afternoon everyone!

So as most of you may know, I am going to be the official Santa for The Brompton Fountain again this Christmas, meaning I will be doing the personalised recordings for your children, grandchildren, nieces and nephews from around the end of November onwards.

In addition, we will be organising 'Breakfast with Santa' in a couple of locations around Colchester, on two Saturday mornings in December (further details to follow).
The idea is to raise as much money as we can for the children who are seriously unwell and will be spending Christmas in hospital again. We will be bringing toys and cheer to the little'uns and their families during what is a pretty tough time.

In addition.......

For one family only, I will turn up on Christmas Eve and share a glass of milk and a cookie with you and your children.
The way this will work is that everyone is invited to bid their best price, and the winner gets me!
I know we are some way off Christmas, but things got pretty full on last year and I couldn't record all the videos due to time.

Dear The Real Santa Clause

I just wanted to say a heartfelt thank you for your visit last week. You were absolutely amazing!! I can't begin to describe the impact you had on our patients and the staff. The feedback we had and continue to receive has been brilliant. You've helped to make Christmas for our patients extra special, not just through your visit but for your fantastic fundraising for our Christmas appeal. We are very grateful. I am collating pics that were taken by various parties and will pop them to you in a separate email.

May I also take this opportunity, if we don't speak beforehand, to thank you and everyone at PLG, for your incredible support this year. You've raised so much awareness of our charity through your videos and social media posts and a high point of us was attending the Synergy Conference where not only did we receive a large amount of money but gained some invaluable on-going support from some of your stakeholders. The Brompton Fountain had some big financial setbacks during the pandemic but you've helped us bounce back in a big way! Thank you again.

You're a great man Darren. It's been an absolute pleasure getting to know you and your teams and I wish you and your family, and everyone at PLG a very happy Christmas and peaceful new year.

HO HO HO!!

The Real Santa Clause here, just letting you all know that I have now got my very own page!

As some of you will remember, I did some personalised recordings in December for some very well behaved children.
This is something I will be doing again later this year.

I am also incredibly proud to tell you that I am going to be working with The Brompton Fountain again this year, making sure that all the poorly children get some time with me at the hospital, as well as some very well deserved gifts.

Please, tell your friends and family that I do exist, and am looking forward to eating your mince pies soon!
