Here's another video from our last family Ceilidh in May - I forgot I had this one! It's probably one of my favourite dances, to be honest. I love the smiles on the faces that we get from it! To make it child friendly - Children are allowed to pick their favourite adult as the circle round.
Why not join in with this when we dance it again THIS Sunday at our next Family Ceilidh/Barn Dance.
It's on Sunday June 30th between 4pm and 6pm at Wormingford Village Hall, outside Colchester. Get your £3 tickets here: https://www.eventbrite.com/e/899041345867?aff=oddtdtcreator
I hope to see you there.
Here's the final video released from last month's family Ceilidh/Barn Dance in Wormingford, Colchester. Its the Irish Washer Woman.. and is one of our more challenging dancers. As you can see, they are all holding it together ... just..... so I have an idea to make it easier next month.

With Valtos – I just got recognised as one of their top fans! 🎉
With The Gathering Festival – I just got recognised as one of their rising fans! 🎉
Here’s the second video release from the Family Ceilidh/Barn dance on Sunday 26th May. It is a Circassian Circle dance - which the dancers really grew into.

Valtos at The Gathering
Valtos were there at The Gathering Festival too - and every time I see them, they are brilliant! They are the kings of euphoric folk! Honestly - they are going to be well worth seeing when they come down to London in August... see my earlier link.
Here’s the first video release from the Family Ceilidh/Barn dance held last Sunday – I love how those in the inner circle did the pat-a-cake whilst the others circled around them.

Why not come early and check out the flower festival at Wormingford Church beforehand?
Here's a new vid of the Pat-a-Cake Polka – it’s a new dance for us, and we first tried it last month. I like it – I think it’s a good one for the children to do.
Normally one of the couples moves on to a new partner – but I wanted to keep the dance child friendly – so all couples remained together.
Come join in with this dance and many more at the next event Sunday 26th May 4pm - 6pm at Wormingford Village Hall, just out of Colchester.
