RESERVE MATCH REPORT

Borough’s young Reserve side picked up a point against Flint Mountain FC at the Watson Fencing Stadium yesterday afternoon.

The hosts battled into a 2-0 lead against an experienced Flint team with goals from Owen Bowden-Williams (27) and Bradley Williams (70).

The visitors hit back with two late goals which saw the match finish in a 2-2 draw. Borough will be disappointed to have drawn a game in which they had worked themselves into a seemingly winning position. However, the hosts can take credit for having earned a point against an experienced and talented opposition side.

Having made a promising start to the season, the Reserves currently sit in 4th place in the league table.
