🟡 B L O C K P R I N T I N G 🟡 We had a great fun making our first block printing with wonderful kiddos last week! Thanks to the amazing Lex for lecturing us about these fantastic techniques. Lovely work of “ちぎり絵 - Chigiri-e -“ from Kids Craft Club last week 🌷🪻👌

“Chigiri-e is a Japanese art form in which the images are created from hand-torn coloured paper such Origami, Washi paper, and why not newspaper!”

Our chosen flowers & trivia :
🪷Morning glory - a very symbolic summer flower in Japan and meaning of “love” “affection”
🪷Sun flower - North American’s indigenous tribes started growing over 4,500 years ago!
