We've been a bit quiet but we've been busy making orcs again. Getting many more orcs made up and ready.

When I first started hanging out with mandala at maelstrom (17 years ago...) a lot of the masks we sold were domino prosthetics like these, designed to be stuck to your face (although we do supply them with elastic).

Maelstrom ended and for empire we mostly make orcs. With making less fewer people see them so we sell less than we used to even outside Empire.

It's rare now that I get to paint 4 of them like this. I'm very much enjoying it.

Base coats are on. Top coats later.

We're gong to be restocking our prosthetic bits in time for empire 4. Starting with making bark today.

I hope those of you who play have had a good empire and are safely drying off at home.

If you're considering buying your own orc mask for E2 then this post is relevant to you.

We're out of the workshop for the week before the event. This means that we won't be able to facilitate last minute orders. We are also likely to have minimal stock on site. (It's my 40th birthday and I want to see puffins :)).

As a result we recommend you pre order your masks with a much notice as you can give us to make sure we've got what you want available.

Over the last couple of months we've been making a pair of bear costumes for the Feast Your Eyes event 'And now my watch begins'.

As usual we've delivered them without taking full length photos, so this is one of the heads.

We aim to get you photos of the full costumes as soon as they exist. :)

This weekend we've got a variety of horns ready for painting. We've also been making orc masks. Lots more of those over the coming weeks.
