We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented cleaner to join our team at Playworld. This role involves ensuring that our space is safe, clean, and welcoming for children and families.
Responsibilities:
• Vacuum all carpets, ensuring play areas are free of debris.
• Clean and sanitize the toilets, including restocking supplies.
• Tidy, clean, and prepare the party room for events, including wiping down surfaces and ensuring the area is neat.
• Empty bins and dispose of waste appropriately.
• Report any maintenance issues to the supervisor.
Requirements:
• Previous cleaning experience preferred.
• Attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
• Ability to work independently and efficiently.
• Positive attitude and reliability.
Hours:
• 2 hours Thursday Morning 8.00am -10.00am
• 2 Hours Saturday Morning 8.00am - 10.00 am
• 2 Hours Sunday Morning 8.00am - 10.00 am
• 2 Hours Monday Morning 8.00am -10.00 am

It's been 17 years since we opened the doors for the first time. What a ride we have had, from a break in, to a fire, a flood and top it all off with a pandemic- our wonderful customers have supported us through it all.

Friday evening 17.30-19.00 or Saturday Morning

We could be flexible with the times as long as the cleaning is done while Playworld is closed. The applicant will need to be over the age of 18 as they will need to be a key holder. £11.44 per hour

Lets talk about safety …..
Safety is the most important core value at Playworld – so what do we do?
On top of the managers daily checks, we have thorough weekly checks, then a lovely man called John, who has worked in the play industry for years comes in quarterly to have another look and carry out any repairs/replacements. Finally, we have an annual check carried out by an independent safety company.
We have just received a glowing annual safety inspection report we thought it’s important to share, giving you the reassurance that we take several measures to ensure our equipment and building is a safe as we can make it

PARTY HOST
Birthday Parties are a very special part of our business and the Playworld experience. Party hosts have a big responsibility dealing with the parents and their guests and making this day extra special for them. It is a party hosts job to ensure each party group feels like a true VIP!
The Role
· The Party staff are focused on the parties, ensuring each party runs smoothly and on time
· Multitasking - any down time will help cover in other areas of the business.
· Party hosts are required to be able to work school holidays and most weekends
· Greeting party groups when they arrive and checking the party goers in.
· Engaging with the party goers and initiating games and conversation.
· Looking after your party group for the duration of their stay Playworld. It is important you ensure your guests have the best possible experience. So interaction is key.
· Setting up party rooms as well as ensuring the party rooms are clean and tidy after each party finishes.
· Deal with any customer requests promptly and courteously
· At times you may be required to assist in other duties as required
The Person
· Entertaining and a warm, welcoming personality.
· Animated and enthusiastic
· Playful and energetic
· Engaging
· Good communication skills and interpersonal skills
· Able to provide exceptional customer service
· Problem solving and time management
· Supervision of party children – responsible but not the fun police!
· Professionalism and resilience
· Previous work experience involving interaction with children would be beneficial. Any experience involving customer interaction and customer service would also be advantageous.

Minimum age 16 - extra hours during the school holidays
