Historic Clarence Hall is Crickhowell’s grandest town centre venue.
Opened in 1890 by Prince Albert, Duke of Clarence and Avondale, the historic Clarence Hall stands proudly in the centre of Crickhowell and has for centuries been the venue to town celebrations, family gatherings, cultural events and meetings and trade fairs and sales. It is the biggest event venue in Crickhowell town centre with a capacity of up to 285 people and has level access from a large public car park to the rear. Throw an event here and your visitors have a level walk to enjoy the interesting shops in Crickhowell town centre - Best High Street in Britain 2018. Clarence Hall has a stage, balcony, dressing rooms, stage lighting and PA system as well as kitchen, licensed bar and fully accessible toilets. There is also a separate meeting room at the rear of the building. The main auditorium is 15 x 10 meters and the meeting room is 6 x 4 metres.
